Holy crap! Well, my daughter's birthday party is Saturday and I guess, instead of having party fun, we are going to be hunkering down hoping Irma skips our little town here in North Florida. So, as we are waiting to see the ultimate path that Irma will take, we are getting our preps going.
and in the smoker goes a ton of meat!
Our location is our, and our families retreat from these crazy storms. So in anticipation of losing power, we cook up what we need and freeze it and use a generator to keep the refer running.
Our water BOBS will be going into the bathtubs, and storing a couple hundred gallons of water for us to use. We generally already have on hand a good amount of canned and dry goods for use. We will be stocking up on a few other essentials over the next couple days and in the meantime, praying that Irma stays in the ATLANTIC, away from land.
