Huawei's new smartwatch is equipped with an underwater echo sounder and has an OLED display.
Huawei officially introduced the Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch some time ago, and this watch has now been launched in the European market. The watch in question has an extremely high build quality and is considered a great option for divers.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 smartwatch uses a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display with a maximum brightness of 3500 nits. The watch has a resistance level of 20ATM, which means that divers can take it with them to depths of 150 to 200 meters. Sapphire glass protects the display.
According to Huawei, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 is the first smartwatch to have an "underwater echo sounder." This system allows users to send messages and predefined emojis to other watches within a radius of 30 meters. The system also supports underwater emergency alerts and can notify device owners within a 60-meter radius of danger.
The Watch Ultimate 2’s TruSense health system and X-Tap sensor allow for quick and accurate measurement of 11 different health indicators, including heart rate. Huawei’s latest smartwatch is eSIM compatible and uses AI to eliminate call noise.
The Watch Ultimate 2’s Expedition mode allows users to enter their desired routes into the device and then download offline maps via the Sunflower Positioning system.
The Watch Ultimate 2’s battery lasts for 11 and 6 days in light and regular use, respectively. This number drops to 4 days in always-on display mode. The price of the smartwatch starts at 899 euros.
