Our hotel was located in South Goa. And in Asia, most often hotels offer only breakfast or nothing at all; all-inclusive is extremely rare here. But there are no problems with food; you can always have breakfast, lunch or dinner in numerous cafes. And these will be inexpensive cafes with good food. As a last resort, you can always buy oatmeal mixture, snacks, cookies and other food in the store. So today I will talk about standard Indian breakfasts. We were served approximately the same breakfast, with one difference, in Sri Lanka.
Breakfast was served at the entrance to the hotel, on the veranda. There is also a reception with free Wi-Fi, a massage parlor, a jewelry store, and a cafe. There are only 4 tables, but most often there was enough space, because breakfast runs from 7.00 to 10.00. By the way, the cafe is open at other times. You can order regular food from the menu here, but it is advisable to place an order in advance, for a while. To be honest, we never had dinner or lunch here, because there was no point in it. This is not a Turkish hotel, where “all inclusive” and you are tied to the hotel by meal times, here you have complete freedom of action and movement, you can also eat on the beach.
On the buffet table there is a tank of boiling water, sugar, bags of tea and coffee, jam, milk, spoons and forks. And on the right you can see the entrance to a small unsanitary kitchen with a dirty curtain.
The tea is more or less good. Regular black tea in bags, but coffee in bags is something!
Instant coffee powder. I don’t like instant coffee and consider it a mockery of coffee in principle, but this coffee was simply good in its disgustingness. The thing is that the composition included chicory and there was at least half of it! To make the product cheaper! Having tried this coffee once, the very case when coffee makes me disgusted, I didn’t drink it again. But the people somehow coped with the task and coffee was even popular. Maybe add more sugar and pour milk over everything...
But I like black coffee.

Unser Hotel lag in Süd-Goa. Und in Asien bieten Hotels meist nur Frühstück oder gar nichts an, All-Inclusive ist hier äußerst selten. Aber mit dem Essen gibt es keine Probleme, in zahlreichen Cafés kann man jederzeit frühstücken, zu Mittag oder zu Abend essen. Und das werden preiswerte Cafés mit gutem Essen sein. Als letzten Ausweg können Sie jederzeit Haferflockenmischung, Snacks, Kekse und andere Lebensmittel im Laden kaufen. Deshalb werde ich heute über das typische indische Frühstück sprechen. In Sri Lanka bekamen wir ungefähr das gleiche Frühstück, mit einem Unterschied.
Das Frühstück wurde am Eingang des Hotels auf der Veranda serviert. Außerdem gibt es eine Rezeption mit kostenfreiem WLAN, einen Massagesalon, ein Juweliergeschäft und ein Café. Es gibt nur 4 Tische, aber meistens war genug Platz, da das Frühstück von 7.00 bis 10.00 Uhr dauert. Das Café ist übrigens auch zu anderen Zeiten geöffnet. Hier können Sie regelmäßig Speisen von der Speisekarte bestellen, es empfiehlt sich jedoch, die Bestellung für eine Weile im Voraus aufzugeben. Ehrlich gesagt haben wir hier nie zu Abend gegessen oder zu Mittag gegessen, weil es keinen Sinn hatte. Dies ist kein türkisches Hotel, in dem „All Inclusive“ gilt und Sie durch die Essenszeiten an das Hotel gebunden sind. Hier haben Sie völlige Handlungs- und Bewegungsfreiheit und können auch am Strand essen.
Auf dem Buffettisch stehen ein Tank mit kochendem Wasser, Zucker, Beutel mit Tee und Kaffee, Marmelade, Milch, Löffel und Gabeln. Und rechts sieht man den Eingang zu einer kleinen, unhygienischen Küche mit einem schmutzigen Vorhang.
Der Tee ist mehr oder weniger gut. Normaler schwarzer Tee in Beuteln, aber Kaffee in Beuteln ist etwas!
Instantkaffeepulver. Ich mag keinen Instantkaffee und halte ihn grundsätzlich für eine Verhöhnung des Kaffees, aber dieser Kaffee war in seiner Ekelhaftigkeit einfach gut. Die Sache ist, dass die Komposition Chicorée enthielt und es war mindestens die Hälfte davon! Um das Produkt günstiger zu machen! Nachdem ich diesen Kaffee einmal probiert hatte, habe ich ihn nicht noch einmal getrunken, obwohl mir der Kaffee ekelhaft machte. Aber die Leute meisterten die Aufgabe irgendwie und Kaffee war sogar beliebt. Vielleicht mehr Zucker hinzufügen und alles mit Milch übergießen... Aber ich liebe schwarzen Kaffee.
