Himachal Pradesh: More than 300 roads, including National Highways closed

Himachal Pradesh need the prayers of all of you. The occurrence of severe rain and cloudburst since last several days has broken the morale of the local people of mountains. In this situation of crisis, our prayers can save many lives.

Cloud burst in three places in Himachal Pradesh. Many areas have become submerged. Water has been filled up to three feet in many places. There are dangerous situations in Kullu, Chamba and Mandi districts. According to the administration of Kullu, cloudburst in Fozal, Dhundhi and Lagwali increased the water level of "Beas river" greatly increased.

On Sunday, due to the cloudburst, water logging in many areas of Kullu district became such a situation. The administration called NDRF for help. 19 people in Manali's Dobhi were trapped in houses. The drainage water came from both sides. Army helicopter pulled people out of hard luck.

A Volvo and truck swept in Beas river at Manali. Many trucks standing in Beas Border union in Kullu were submerged in water. 300 cattle of sheep coming back from Kangra were flown in the flood. Water is flooded in many areas of Beas bank. People have moved towards safe places.

Bengal's trackers coming from the glacier in district Lahaul Spiti in the tribal district of Himachal Pradesh has brought the tragedy. The nine trackers of Bengal, who went to the Gangstang Glacier, located at an elevation of 6001 meters has disappeared after fresh snowfall.

There is no trace of these trackers after snowfall. In such a situation, there is a possibility of an accident after heavy snowfall at the height. Since the internet and telecommunication services in Lahaul have stopped, the district administration is not able to contact these trackers.

On the Kalkhar-Nerchauk road, a jeep went to the deep gulf, three women from Rajasthan has died, while 12 people, including four children, have been injured. Injured have been referred to the Civil Hospital, Mandi.

Heavy rain is being wiped out the way of school in Bilaspur. Children are going to school by taking a risky way these days. In fact, the state-level secondary school of the Swaraghat subdivision, in Kharkadi, dozens of children go to school after crossing the bustling ridge in rainy days. Children have to cross their drains by holding their school bags, shoes etc. in hand.
