Do You Know How To Break A Mobile Into Pieces?

in #india6 years ago (edited)

A few days back I had told you about how a mob tried to break my mobile into pieces. But despite smashing it on to a stone wall multiple times, with full force; they couldn't break the device into pieces.

Today, the city police got the possession of that mobile device and handed it back to me.

At the first sight, the police inspector was very optimistic and told me that the mobile is fine. According to him, it was only the screen guard that was damaged. I said, it's not possible. The way those people were smashing the mobile against the stone, there was no chance of the screen being intact. To verify, he immediately took off the screen guard telling me that because of it, the device has been saved.

But as soon as he uncovered the screen guard, truth was revealed:

Here are a few more photographs of my mobile:

Visibly, it looked like the device is dead now. But my friend @chetanpadliya immediately dialled my mobile no. and this device started ringing. Amazing! It's been 5 days since this incident but its battery was strong enough to still receive a call. However there was no way to receive the call as screen wasn't working anymore. But I found that I can still access my whatsapp messages over web through this device. Hopefully, there isn't much damage to the device.

So it looks like people don't know how to destroy a device. This device has certain proofs to implicate the people involved in the mob attack. But we have decided to not to pursue any criminal suit against anyone involved and condoned all the parties involved in it. This too, on verbal apologies which were obviously hollow and empty as they were not prepared to repair the damaged property and install our hoardings back in place.

But that is understandable. I don't believe in asking for compensation or restoration of the damage. Anger can result in anything and most losses in our lives are of irreparable nature. That's how life is and we should accept it. If they don't want to do whatever little they could on their own, we won't like to compel them for the same too. Life will keep flowing with time irrespective of what they do or not do. Time never stops and waits for none.

  • Yet, I'm curious to know the best way to break a mobile device into pieces. How would you do it?
Sort:

Take a drill and drill a hole or put it in microwave.

Hmm, will need these tools or gadget handy (along with electricity supply) to cause an instant damage.

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. You were not physically harmed though? Why did they target your phone?

Yeah, not much. Am still alive 😊

Well, I haven't described the whole incident here but you can read some of the story in between some blog posts:

My friend @chetanpadliya too covered it in his blog below:

You try to bend it by forcing it into a corner.

It will be hard to do that as it has a metal body and is not very long in shape to do that. But yeah, your idea is welcome. Thank you!

Oh it was a terrible incident with you my friend! It is a very shocking news that some people attacked you. Be safe dear.

Everything is fine at my end now, Thanks for your concern!

You are welcome dear!
