Flower knob or button flower is a popular flower type among the house with its various color variants, which is dark red, purple, white, and red. Keunikan dan Kecantikan Bunga Kenop
Bunga kenop atau bunga kancing adalah jenis bunga populer di kalangan rumah dengan warnanya yang berbagai varian, yaitu berwarna merah tua keunguan, putih, dan merah. Di Indonesia yang mudah kita temua yaitu bunga kenop yang berwarna merah tua keunguan, bentuknya bulat seperti bola yang berukuran sebesar guli atau kelereng, daunnya yang berbentuk telur sungsang dan batangnya hijau kemerahan yang sedikit berbulu dan membesar keatas.
Hal yang menarik dari bunga ini yaitu ketika mereka mulai tumbuh atau berkembang. bunga ini berwarna hijau muda daunnya pun berwarna demikian, berbeda saat usia bunga ini sudah sangat lama atau tua bunganya akan mengering dan batangnya pun kering berwarna coklat sama seperti warna bunganya yang kecoklatan, akan tetapi bunga tersebut tidak gugur bentuknya tetap seperti semula atau seperti biasa bulat dan kecil hanya saja daunnya yang gugur ,yang terlihat hanya sebatang tangkai dan beberapa bunga, dan itu membuat bunga ini terkesan unik, karena biarpun menua tetapi bunga ini tidak berubah wujud atau bentuknya.
Bunga ini biasanya ditanam di pekarangan rumah sebagai tanaman hias untuk memperindah rumah dengan bunganya yang selalu banyak.
Tanaman ini jika sudah berbunga, bunganya akan keluar terus-menerus dalam jumlah yang sangat banyak setiap harinya atau tidak akan putus-putus sapanjang tahunnya, itu sebabnya orang-orang menyukai bunga ini karena bunga ini tahan lama.
Selain sebagai tanaman hias, bunga yang kerap disebut kenop ini juga memiliki manfaat atau khasiat yaitu sebagai obat sesak nafas atau asma, radang saluran nafas, penambah nafsu makan, dan juga sebagai obat batuk.
