Very well said Paula! I like to remind people too that this so-called 'low' price is actually HIGH if you've been here since the beginning. Even last spring and summer I would have died for a 2$ Steem or SBD.
Definitely good riddance to all of the 'fair weather friends', and I hope they don't come back when the price skyrockets again. But if they do, well I know who they are and they won't be getting my support the 2nd time around.
I definitely remember the days when my upvote was always rounded up to $0.00 and the joy or earning $0.1 BSD for all the blood, sweat and tears :) In fact if anyone needs a reminder of how you can't take anything for granted, just throw away your master key and start over again :D
mrs @lyndsaybowes, i have not felt the moment as you felt it, l can'nt imagine when steem like the price of a bottle of water that does not contain water, it seems sad at that time ?, I was here when the price of steem can to buy a ring to apply for a girl, that's just an example. conclusion is you are great people who are very consistent with quality work that can survive when steem is just a point of no value, now you become something that is very useful for others. this is my appreciation for you, the enormous love for our community in this world.
