Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono resmi menapaki jalan baru sebagai politisi. Ia telah menjadi politisi Partai Demokrat sejak Sabtu 17 Februari lalu dan langsung menyandang tanggung jawb sebagai Komandan Satuan Tugas Bersama (Kogasma) Pemenangan Pemilu Partai Demokrat. Tugas berat menanti AHY di dunia yang sudah setahun ini Dia dekati.

Partai Demokrat memang tidak sembarang memilih orang untuk menjabat di posisi se strategis itu. Kemunculan nama AHY memang sudah diprediksi sebelumnya untuk berlayar mengarungi lautan politik bersama partai yang didirikan oleh ayahnya tersebut. Namun, dengan bekal kemampuannya, AHY memang harus diposisikan sebagai demikian.

Bagi Partai Demokrat, AHY adalah simbol baru yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Hasil survey beberapa lembaga konsultan politik menempatkan Peraih Adhi Makayasa Tahun 2001 itu di posisi teratas. Ia bahkan melampaui capaian elektabilitas politisi senior Muhaimin Iskandar, Zulkifli hasan dan bahkan Seniornya sendiri di TNI Jenderal Gatot Nurmantyo.

Sabtu lalu, AHY resmi dilantik menjadi Komandan Kogasma Partai Demokrat. Tentu partai yang pernah meraih dukungan terbanyak pada Pileg 2009 lalu itu ingin mengulang memori kemenangan mereka. Capaian keberhasilan SBY sebagai Presiden periode 2004 – 2009 membuat rakyat memberikan apresiasi dengan kembali memilihnya menjadi Presiden pada periode kedua. Mulus dan telak. SBY meraup dukungan signifikan diatas 60 persen.

Memori kemenangan Pemilu itulah yang kembali dibuka dengan ditunjuknya AHY mengomandani barisan pemenangan pemilu. Demokrat sadar betul bahwa mereka butuh darah muda dan figur yang baru dan segar.

Masuknya tokoh tokoh muda ke dalam organisasi Partai Demokrat seperti Mantan Peraih Medali Emas Olimpiade Taufik Hidayat, Ricky Ahmad Subagja serta Juara Dunia Tinju Profesional Chris John serta sederet nama terkenal lainnya dinilai sebagai langkah positif untuk meraih dukungan publik yang lebih banyak.

Dengan AHY sebagai Komandan Kogasma, bukan hal yang mustahil bagi Demokrat untuk mengulangi kembali prestasi tahun 2009 lalu tersebut. Demokrat yang berbenah dan makin muda, akan menjadi modal besar untuk itu.

Hal yang mendesak dilakukan oleh kader Demokrat adalah menunjukkan konsistensi kepada publik sebagai partai yang selalu memberikan solusi. Sikap Demokrat yang tidak memihak pada dua kutub politik yang tengah bertikai Demokrat terbukti membuka mata bahwa PD adalah partai yang pro rakyat dan ditunjukkan dengan alasan yang kuat. Tokh rakyat juga bisa menilai bahwa sikap Demokrat yang menjadi partai tengah adalah sebuah keharusan ditengah hiruk pikuknya persaingan kelompok yang pro dan anti pemerintah.

Hal lain adalah, dalam empat tahun pasca badai korupsi yang dilakukan oleh mantan kader mereka, Partai Demokrat berhasil menjalani aksi bersih bersih. Coba liat, dari sekian banyak kasus korupsi yang hari ini diselidiki oleh KPK, nama kader Partai Demokrat tidak satupun muncul bahkan dalam aksi OTT terhadap kader di daerah. Sebaliknya, partai yang tadinya menuding PD justru menyumbang kader terbanyak sebagai pasien KPK.

Jelas, ini merupakan ketegasan yang harus dilakoni. Tokoh Partai Demokrat sendiri pernah menganalogikan ketegasan itu sebagai obat pahit yang harus diminum jika ingin sembuh (dari prilaku korup kadernya)

Dengan jabatan barunya di Partai Demokrat, AHY akan menjadi pemicu bergairahnya kembali kader partai itu menyambut pemilu 2019. Nantilah bicara koalisi dan pilpres. Kehadiranya saja sudah menjadi sinyal positif bagi kancah politik tanah air.
