Corruption. The word is already familiar to the people of Indonesia. In fact, few people do not know about corruption. But, is it corruption? Corruption or rasuah (Latin: corruptio of corrumpere verb meaning rotten, corrupted, destabilizing, twisting, bribing) is the act of public officials, both politicians and civil servants, as well as other parties involved in the act that are unfair and illegal misusing public confidence authorized to them for unilateral gain.

We all Indonesian people must have known that corruption is a life-breaking act. But in fact, there are still many in this country who are still corrupt. That must be due to the weakness of the legal system in our country, and also the weakness of the legal profession in Indonesia.

We need to know that our country is, Indonesia is included into the 13 most corrupt countries. The country of Indonesia is ranked fifth after the cameron of 13 countries. How? Is not that wonderful? Though Indonesia is a country dubbed the emerald equator. The natural riches are abundant than other countries.

And what we need to know is, before Indonesia became independent our country was once colonized by the invaders. The invaders came from Europe to take the spices from the archipelago (Indonesia). Belgian also colonize our country rich in spices. And also the Dutch monopolize the existing trading system in Indonesia. Until the VOC was formed.

Do you know? The prolonged VOC Verenige oost indische compagnie collapsed due to the weak legal system in the VOC. Therefore officials in the VOC began to be crazy about wealth. Because of the infatuation that makes the VOC officials corrupt. And that's where the VOC collapsed and finally disbanded.

From the historical snippet bias we know that the organization that monopolize the wealth in our country also collapsed because ulahnya own. That is, corruption. Corruption bias makes us forget everything. It makes people crazy about the wealth they want to master.

In fact, the State of Indonesia is ranked fifth out of 13 countries with high levels of corruption. Just imagine our country that we love just collapsed due to corruption that is crazy about wealth. Will our country fall into another State because of its debts? A country that has been championed by heroes who have not been dropped to another country? Will we drop this red and white flag?

The answer is NO! We should not fall. The young generation now has a lot of potential to change Indonesia for the better. Let us carefully develop a sense of nationalism towards the younger generation. In order for them to understand more about a struggle. Let's not forget history! Spirit 45!
