RE: Migrating from Steemit.com to Hive.blog (please ackonwledge if you have a minute)

in #informationwar5 years ago

I think about 2/3 of my base moved over. I'm about 2/3 moved over, myself.
Posting on both (at least for now) probably makes sense. As for where to keep funds, that may be another matter. I feel Hive is probably safer for that.
But yeah, the whole thing has been a bit messy. Upheavals often are, I guess!

Thanks my friend! Much appreciated. Now following you!

Would you happen to have any resources as to how to transfer my STEEM and Steem Dollars from the Steemit blockchain to Hive?

Seems a bit scary and complicated. Not sure I understand this, as in Steemit it says I have about 227 STEEM and in Hive it says I have 227 HIVE. But if I do a conversion calculation it says that 227 STEEM should equal about 128 HIVe. Confusing. Not sure what to do with my STEEM.

What do you mean by moved over? You mean the ratio between how often you write on Steem vs how often you write on Hive?

Not really, I wasn't trying to be precise with that number, just a basic idea. Maybe it's just how I feel? I'm certainly posting most of my content to both platforms, but my comments are moving toward Hive more. I find I can't maintain conversations across multiple platforms perfectly, so unless someone is only on Steem, I generally start the comment/reply on Hive.
