Hi All,
In the past few months, I've been noticing how very few views, comments, and re-posts I had been getting on steemit.com/@libertyacademy.
I was not quite sure why this was happening, as I didn't have much time to research all the details about the background shenanigans of managing the site and blockchain.
But was had become quite apparent was the fact that Steemit.com was and is no longer providing the kind of exposure to my work as it used to.
Therefore, depending on the kind of response I get on this forked platform, I may just end up posting mostly here. But in the meanwhile, I will post on both platforms.
I would greatly appreciate a quick comment from you if you see this post, and especially if you are one of my "followers".
I look forward to perhaps getting more exposure to my quality work on this platform.
I am currently in the process of writing a major series that is exposing the Grander Plan about the virus and how it is currently being used as a pretext to track, mark, and further enslave us all. I will start posting those parts here today.
Looking forward to sharing with you all.
Best,
I think about 2/3 of my base moved over. I'm about 2/3 moved over, myself.
Posting on both (at least for now) probably makes sense. As for where to keep funds, that may be another matter. I feel Hive is probably safer for that.
But yeah, the whole thing has been a bit messy. Upheavals often are, I guess!
Thanks my friend! Much appreciated. Now following you!
Would you happen to have any resources as to how to transfer my STEEM and Steem Dollars from the Steemit blockchain to Hive?
Seems a bit scary and complicated. Not sure I understand this, as in Steemit it says I have about 227 STEEM and in Hive it says I have 227 HIVE. But if I do a conversion calculation it says that 227 STEEM should equal about 128 HIVe. Confusing. Not sure what to do with my STEEM.
What do you mean by moved over? You mean the ratio between how often you write on Steem vs how often you write on Hive?
Not really, I wasn't trying to be precise with that number, just a basic idea. Maybe it's just how I feel? I'm certainly posting most of my content to both platforms, but my comments are moving toward Hive more. I find I can't maintain conversations across multiple platforms perfectly, so unless someone is only on Steem, I generally start the comment/reply on Hive.
Me too.
Keep posting on Hive. You will find that most of your followers and supporter base from steemit has moved over here...as well as most of the interactions between users! Good luck!
Thank you my friend :) God bless you!
👍😎
Thanks!
Is there actually a few count? I've not seen that.
Perhaps my bad. Not sure if Hive has a view count for our posts. Steemit use to have this a couple of years ago but had gotten rid of it. Would be nice if Hive could reinstate this feature, as it would give us a better indication of our true exposure/viewcount on this platform and whether we are reaching as many eye balls as we think we may be reaching.
Yeah. It is possible to make one or find the code for one. The problem is that some HTML code and other codes do not work last time I checked on these types of websites or whatever. I may try again someday. Because I do like the idea of having a view counter. I've copied and pasted view counters onto my MySpace and possibly my Xanga blog in the 2000's.
Welcome to your new home. Check out https://peakd.com/ as your new frontend of choice.
Thank you so much @flauwy. Now following you.
I will definitely check out Peakd.com. Is there a way to subscribe to specific communities here from Hive so they can appear in my "Communities" tab? Not sure how to do this. I like the Deep Dives one and would like to join. Any way to "login" using Hive credentials? Or, do I need to sign up anew on Peakd.com? Thanks again!
You can simply use the same Hive keys to login to your existing account. This is just another frontend. After login you can subscribe to any community.
I suggest using the Hive Keychain extension for Brave, Chrome and Firefox. Fast, secure and works for pretty much everything these days.
And if you want to follow me, check out my alt-account @flauwy.apx where I am much more active.
