But everything staring me in the face is quite depressing.

Man-made horrors beyond comprehension
I saw some scientist manipulating a dead spider with a weird looking syringe with a caption implying that we will soon be able to move around dead arachnids remotely. Super neat. And then another one that was a Chinese mosquito drone. Also very cool. At a certain point the countermeasures that need to be employed against such technology will be equally absurd. Of course a lot of this tech we see today has already been around for 10 years (just classified) so that's fun to think about.
There's also the issue of quantum computing cracking encryption which would disrupt basically the entire internet and not just crypto. Again, it may have already happened and the entity that's achieved such a thing is just keeping it quiet and using it for the highest priority spying/theft as to not attract attention on the worldwide scale. It's all very black pill.
What is the black pill exactly?
Black Pill ideology is basically one of hopelessness. Nothing can get better in it's current state. All we can do is hope for complete systemic collapse and perhaps one day we can build something better from the ashes (assuming we survive the collapse). It's an ideology that seems to propagate itself through the incel male-loneliness community at lightning speed, and they even have a mascot named Ryan Gosling.
Civil War
Also when I see random idiots talking about how there's going to be a civil war between the left and the right I just can't get over how absolutely idiotic that concept is. As far as wars go all civilians are basically children in a playpen at this point. Imagine thinking you are gonna go out on the street with your little pea-shooter and do anything other than get labeled a domestic terrorist.
Absolutely insane to me that people think this is even a possibility on any level. Who's going to organize it? What infrastructure will you use? What is even the goal? Gonna use Discord to organize a raid against the "enemy"? Stop being delusional please and thank you.
Core vs Knots
The Knotzis are feeling really confident right now and reporting that 25% of all Bitcoin nodes are Knots. The entire codebase of Knots is controlled by this one guy Luke Dashjr. A guy who comes off to me as an annoying fundamentalist Roman Catholic. The rumors surrounding this guy are pretty alarming. Searching on Google doesn't yield results but some of the stuff people say on X about him is out of control. Unclear if there's any truth to the stuff so I won't repeat it here.
Point is you don't want one single guy who has a history of not listening to anyone solely in charge of your codebase, but that's what's going on with Knots. Of course maybe someone soft-forks core or Knots into yet another version of the software, which is fine by me (although probably not necessary).
The endless screeching on my timeline revolving around this debate is tedious and juvenile. If such a small insignificant issue could destroy Bitcoin it was never going to survive in the first place. Of course that's all delusional alarmism and propaganda trying to add weight to the argument. Huge nothing burger so far in my opinion.

Now that the doom is out, take a breath and get back to work. Doom is okay to indulge in every so often but it serves almost nothing except to bring down spirits. Very few people get motivated in that state, so buck up buttercup.
I get such vibes from time to time. I found out how to cure it. For me, getting into some deep woods this time of year clears my registers and refocuses me on important things, rather than the vile narrative that's trying to keep us all in a constant state of panic. It's peak wild mushroom season, and bow hunting for deer and elk, presently, and these are primordial activities that give me a sense of being rooted in the same practices undertaken by my ancestors back into time primeval.
I just got home from a hike up a mountain during which I missed a shot at a bull elk and picked a handful of chanterelles. This may not seem particularly meaningful, but doing the same things men have done for hundreds of thousands of years feels like it aligns my spirit with humanity that has done these very things, that has evolved to do these things innawoods, and I am refreshed spiritually, as well as getting some good cardio hiking rough terrain.
I dunno if there's much in the way of mountains and forest in Pennsylvania, or wherever you're hanging your hat nowadays, but I suspect if you can get out in nature to do some hiking you might reset your soul to a calm and confident state and prune away all the anxiety inducing psyops we are overloaded with of late. Maybe that will be beneficial for you.

STOPI really wish the Black Pill was just nihilism, but it's not.
The Black Pill + Inceldom = a lot of men are not people. They are below the notice of women. And this includes about 50% of young men in America. So, the oft heard rant "where are all the good men"… they cannot even say, "i'm here", women don't even consider them. (not, do not consider them good men, they don't even think of them as existent)
The Wokians are so lucky that there isn't anyone to lead a proper civil war. If the conservatives all woke up tomorrow thinking the wokians want us dead, so we must fight. There wouldn't be any more targets by lunch time.
What will happen is the breakdown of civil affairs. Places will break off. Like Seattle declaring it as not part of America. Like CHAZ, but bigger.
But really, we are in a "cold civil war", where certain groups of people no longer consider other groups as humans anymore.
There will be some catalysts, like along the lines of, and size of, "immigrants" set a group of houses on fire, and shoot anyone that tries to escape. And then, all the immigrants will run for the border, or be shot.
I wish the black pill didn't have so many facts on their side.
