Hayes or Chiltons manual at the car parts store.
I always get one when I buy a car!
:)>They have them for any car?
Well, probably not a 1938 Packard, but all modern cars, with few exceptions. Philip has one for the 1973 Mercedes 280 SE, I have one for my 1990 Range Rover.
:)>Did he buy the Mercedes to fix it up?
Yes, it is a sweet toy! I told him if he didn't buy it, I would....
:)>What is wrong with it? how much does an old Mercedes cost? probably pocket change for you.
He drove it home, the underhood fire was later. A driveable one is 5 to 10 grand, and a nice one is twice that.
