Ever wonder who was the 'original' storm troopers? The National Socialists used a group of useful idiots they called the brown shirts (today they call antifa and blm) they used to selectively create violence that normal police could not control. Partially because the police were not allowed to arrest these protesters, BECAUSE they were "Brown shirts"; sound familiar?

They demanded that the police be done away with, because they were ineffective. They also wanted to us that money for social programs!!!

Everyone’s favorite Democratic Socialist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has come out in favor of defunding police departments and rerouting the money toward social programs, which she says will prevent crime from happening in the first place. This statement, aside from being completely nutty, is a response designed to combat the criticism that cutting funding to police will lead to an increase in crime due to the fact less officers will be available to patrol communities.
This is the same argument the Nazis used in the 1930s! This scares the Hell out of me, seeing this happen again!
Want to know where this is headed? Since they are following the Nazi model, the next step (after a lot more violence) is the Gestapo, with all that implies! IF this is allowed to happen, there will be an Extra-Constitutional Pseudo-Legal Police force (like the Gestapo) with more power than our Police! It will most likely be based on the UN, and will also likely force Civil War in the USA!
People need to study the National Socialists, in order to understand these riots! While we need to protect Peaceful Protests, we also need to actively oppose ALL violent protests; and imprison these Criminals!
What we do NOT need, is the liberals replacing our Police; with their Gestapo, supported by the violence of their minions (antifa and blm)!

Popular History hasn’t been taught legitimately in the history of the written word, of the spoken word. It’s all propaganda to make the victor look swell and the other side be the scapegoat. Not saying some things didn’t happen but there are so many examples of things largely glossed over or completely left out of books and education. The best we can do is educate our children; there is the history you will hear your teachers and many repeat like a good parrot and then there’s what real history is. I plan on doing that!
Defunding and removing the police sounds sketchy to me because I know they will turn around and hire private companies and contractors like the former black water guys then we are all up shits creek.
You are Very accurate, they do NOT want Police they do not directly control! This is extra-constitutional and as such, can NEVER become acceptable. This inability to stop pushing for full tyranny, may force violence from those who just want to be left alone!
Real History requires that a person looks from all sides, reading books written by the victors, and the defeated. I prefer books written by those who actually fought, it can be eye opening. I just hate to see that same mistakes in news stories, being deified by the MSM!

The funny thing is that, in a lawless community, those peaceful people will be preyed upon by the violent ones...Exactly like is happening, or has done recently with innocent businesses targeted, destroyed and looted. We will see how peaceful they are at that stage...And if they decide that the police are there to protect and serve them. Sure, there are some bad ones, but many good ones. It is the screening and training that needs attention. It also doesn't help that there are almost 18,000 different law enforcement agencies in America, but I am not there so what do I know?
I also agree with your intention of providing your children history in its true form, not the indoctrination that is pushed in schools in America and abroad. It is important to be informed and also to have the understanding and ability to inform oneself, with the truth and with perspective...Not just read a meme on Facebook and raise a fist shooting kill cops. Terrorists.
I have found it perplexing on those occasions I have seen white people (I am not white) proclaim that people are racist for saying things like all lives matter. Do they hear what they are saying? It gets me quite agitated when I hear and see it and wonder at the intelligence of a person who fights for equality, and yet labels people as racist for showing care towards all people. Are we all not the citizens of one global location?
I have no respect for those who protest violently in a bid to show their disagreement with violence. I have no respect for people soap-boxing the kill cops message. Above all else, I have no tolerance for terrorists which what I see these people as...Not the peaceful protesters that focus on the issues mind, the other ones. I do not live in the USA and so am always careful of an opinion, however those above apply to any country.
GOD himself ignores skin color, which means WE are required too do the same! Darker skin is a large advantage by the equator, while lighter skin is better in cold climates. That is the simple reason for variations in skin color, other than that we are all the same. Some are less intelligent, and regardless of the skin pigment involved, these unintelligent ones are rioting now!
I run security at Church. We have all skin pigments there, and I would die to protect them all, they are My Family! I was at his house when one Baby came home, he is now chasing girls; his Father helps me feed the homeless, and is an elder. Stephen is from Nigeria, and is a Very good Man; and those girls are giving Simeon fits, as is normal, LOL!
Peaceful Protests are supported around here. Agitators tried to start Riots two times locally. Not only did they get ignored, our Peaceful Protesters came back the next day; and helped clean up the mess the agitators caused. THAT is an adult response. The second time, some were stopped by the protesters, and ended up under arrest. Then they left....

Not all people are good, that is clear, but we are all people. The color of a person doesn't make them good or bad, their actions do.
I was proud of the protesters here! I don't agree with their position, BUT I respect them; BECAUSE they protested Peacefully. They got a meeting with the Mayor from it!
We had some Police abuse of power here, in two instances, in BOTH cases, the officers involved went to Prison! WE do Not put up with this Crap here, Everyone is under the Law; and no one is above it! We even removed the Sheriff, for cause, related to one of these, and replaced him with a Conservative Sheriff.
That is part of the reason the Protesters refused to riot, they saw that they will get a fair shake under the Law here!

I live in a suburb (until I get to the homestead) where most of the police I see, are helping people. Here the city decided that here it would be a more attractive for those looking for a place to live, if Police were helpful.
Our cops don't like a Bad one, as it hurts the good ones!

It makes me sick to see some of the boot-lickers out there that comply with their absurd demands. The fact that Antifa are not hunted down is alarming. They have always annoyed me as they claim to be fighting fascism by using actual fascist tactics.
