It is nice that you were able to get a break. Writing more than 1 post in a day when you're inspired is the way to go. Just publish it the next day or whenever you want. I have noticed that if you treat posting like a job, you really don't have a vacation or off days. But doing this helps give you little breaks.

In the past, I took longer breaks from posting. The problem is if don't post for a while you start losing the ability to do it. Ideas don't come as easily, you get frustrated because of it. That's why I'd rather keep my streak. And no, it's not like a job, that would be much more boring and constraining.
