Hello wonderful steemians. How's life going. Anyway, it's another day to be inspired by music. The song for today I actually first heard it whiles watching justice league. I think it was a theme song or so. I loved the song instantly and more so I loved the words in it and the core message it carries according to me. The song is Every Body Knows, and it was sang by Sigrid.
Today my message is simple, everybody knows, just as the songs title says.

Everybody collectively knows of everything that is happening in the world. Definitely, we would hardly find an individual that knows everything that is happening in the world, but everyone collectively knows. We know of the hardships people are going through, we know of the hunger people are going through, we know of the crimes people are committing and those committing them, we know of those who are bringing shame to the human race. We know of the fights, the conflicts, the wars, the causes of the wars and the solutions to those wars, we know of the deaths and those killing people like animals, we know of the rich who fuel the wealth with the sweat of the poor. However, if everybody knows, and you agree with me that everybody knows,then why is nothing changing but things rather seem to get worse.

We know of those who a struggling to make an impact on the society, those who are punished for speaking the truth in our institutions and our organisations, we know of those who are fighting to do right and stand firmly by the truth. We know of those who are contributing to the society as much as they get. We know of those who spend most of their resources trying to protect wildlife from their fellow humans, and we know of those who we'd say have no money but spend quality time with less privileged people just so they can offer them closure. However, why does the world look like its not changing for the better.

Now everyone has their own answer to the questions I asked earlier, but my answer is simple. Even though Everybody Knows, Everybody is going to act like they don't know so they dont have to live up to their responsibility of taking action. That said, I'm going to point this out again, We collectively as humans know everything that is happening around us, and it is our responsibiliity to take action whiles making sure we do not interfere in other people's business.

Very strong words. Communicated the emotion at the beginning of the Justice League movie perfectly.
The world is torn in strife but people make up excuses to be selfish and 'stick to their lanes.' As you rightly said, I think it's simply because people don't want to made aware of their responsibilities to their environment claiming they have issues. Interesting thing is, if tables were turned, they'll demand and expect help from the community they turn a blind eye to.
There's a saying in my part of the world people who turn a blind eye preach,
Yes, if the tables turn they'd start asking for help and claim the world is bad if they're not getting the help they desired.

Of course, I realised that everybody knew everything wrong that was happening. If you question a children you'd realise that they know a lot. But then it turns out they'd rather Fein ignorance than show that they know just so no one expects them to do anything. Thanks for passing by.
