"First impression is the last impression",they say and i strongly agree to it .A simple 2 minutes of an introductory session can tell a lot about a persons personality and behavior .Self introduction requires deep self analysis which inThe world is moving so faast that we forget to give ourselves a couple of moment free in a day . this results in separation of oneself from there own soul. A great self introduction has two adjectives ; positive and simple .
Hello friends , this is my second post in this category and this post is all about introducing ourselves better , not just on any social platform but in our day to day life.
Your introduction should focus on your biggest strengths , areas of expertise .Do not get lost in words and mention something irrelevant while introducing yourself . Your introduction should consists of the attributes defining you to make "them" focus on your personality even more .Have crisp points and keep it simple.
Remember your personality says a lot about you, let it say something good then .
(i). Do you know yourself ?:
How well do you know yourself ? .Before everything else you should be able to answer this question. can you mention 10 qualities within you within 30 seconds . If not, you need to work on self analysis part . Take a diary and make notes of it to have a clear image . In short, to describe what you actually are , you would have to think about yourself in great depth .
(ii). Keep your introduction concise :
Make sure your that your introduction is simple and short and not a whole life description. Introduce with your name , age and then move to generalized things like hobbies and aim in life . Never trigger a topic which is controversial and debated as it can make you look needy .
(iii). Be ready to follow up questions :
If you are asked some follow up question then consider it to be a good start of your introduction . You must make sure that you prepare for all the follow up questions about yourself . Be honest and dont brag . A truth is easier to explain.
(iv). Be confident :
Its okay if you make mistake. All you have to is accept your mistake gracefully and move on .Dont think much about it .Your confidence is the most important thing that will decide the quality your introduction .
Any business can benefit from influential introductions. So keep it simple , be honest and be real .
