While living in Buckhead in Atlanta Georgia just off West Paces with a lovely young Alabama girl from Salam College I encountered a life altering experience. My partner and I had started a privately held Ag Software Computer Company located on Peachtree. We designed, wrote and sold ag software to large farming corporations. One day the President asked me if I was happy and with a resounding no he responded with: Why don't you do me, yourself and the company a huge favor and figure out what you want to do with your life.
At that point I called Lauren and asked if she would like to travel to France for a couple of weeks of snow skiing and shopping in Paris. She said yes and brought along 5 of her girlfriends. We had just concluded a week of filming with Kenny Rogers in a B rated film and a week was long enough to know that was not a carrier to pursue so off to France we went. We skied for a solid week opening the weekend shopping and dining in Paris. We then traveled back to Morzine for another week of amazing skiing.
Morzine is a ski resort in the French Alps, close to the Swiss border. It’s part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, linked by lifts and cable cars. The Col de la Joux Verte pass climbs from Morzine to the higher-altitude resort of Avoriaz, near the Hauts-Forts mountain. In the village, restaurants and bars cluster around Route de la Plagne.
On our return an actor friend called and said he would be over in a few to take me away for several days. My response was no yet he arrived and I left. After alerting Lauren that I was leaving; having not seen her for a week since returning from France, she was intensely upset at my departure. Change was on the way since the current lifestyle was no longer acceptable.
Frank arrived a promised and away we went to be shuttled into a 4 day, 3 night event known as Tres Dias. Tres Dias is a Christian interdenominational three-day movement which aims to concentrate closely on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ.
This was a life altering paradigm shift of major importance and nothing would ever be the same.
