Hello Hivers… So, it’s been long since I’ve been listening about Hive Blogs and honestly I was a little paranoid at first as I felt it isn’t really my cup of tea and I would just be making a fool of myself here. But then eventually with the turn of events, things changed and BOOM I am here writing my first post, introducing myself.
So, to start with, I am Sakshi Gupta, a CA Finalist from Rajasthan- the Land of Maharajas (Kings) situated in the western part of India. Now when I mention CA (Chartered Accountant), a basic idea you get is “might be a nerd”, which is not totally incorrect, as I would like to say. Being a Chartered Accountant has been my sole dream for past 5 years. Talk of sacrifice… I’ll share a list of my own making you pop your eyes (just kidding!!).
I am 23 year old and I have always loved sketching for as long as I know. Additions to which are travelling. I like it when I travel places having no baggage and setting myself free. I guess, it just makes me more “ME”.
Well continuing with my CA journey, as I mentioned being a Chartered Accountant has been my sole dream for almost 5 years now, I gave up sketching and travelling and confined myself to studies for 12-14 hours straight. But guess what… the hell shined upon me and at the very moment when I was so close to my dream, just a month away from my exam, the exams got cancelled, TRAGIC!!
I won’t say I handled it well, in fact I went pathetic. And I agree that a pandemic wasn’t on anyone’s checklist so eventually all of us are suffering in our own way. But you feel what you feel. And it was then that my friends (@dawnndusk and @thecrytotrader) suggested me to join Hive. As I mentioned I was in denial at first but having seen such tragedies I felt it was worth giving a try. Either ways, I would have got a chance to get back to a thing that makes me feel alive, SKETCHING!! So I guess it’s a WIN-WIN anyway. Also I felt maybe this was my call to bring on some positivity amongst the chaos we are into.
Eventually, I joined Hive which is very evident with this post and I hope the expectations I have in me with this platform will be well fulfilled. I am looking forward to learn new things and explore the area I am a stranger to. And therefore, I am looking forward to find my peace in doing what I love the most to do. I hope my Hive journey opens up new ideas and avenues and with that thought I am signing in today as @Bosquejo- a Spanish word which meaning sketch. I expect to get inspired along with inspiring others through my work. I believe we as a community and as a family can help us get through hard times and uplift each other.

Chosing to pursue your dreams is a difficult path. I am a mechanical engineer. Never liked that profession. So left job. Started exploring things. Been hustling from the last 5 years. Enjoying everyday of my life.
