My name is @joanroberts, and I have been here on Steemit for a week. I live in the United States, in the state of Arizona. I live in the Sonoran desert. In the summertime, it's very hot here. Today the high temperature was 111F, about 44C. The temperature reached 116F last week.
I've met many people from other countries. I really admire people who are learning to read, write, and speak another language. I know English isn't an easy language to learn.
I'm hoping you will reply with the biggest problem you have with writing or speaking English, and let's see if I can help. I'm not an expert, but I was an English tutor in college, so I have a little experience with this.
I also hope there are lots of replies, so I can make posts about the specific issues you have.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you and making new friends from across the world! I know there are a lot of you out there who would rather write your own, original, creative content to post here on Steemit and not copy it. I look forward to seeing your work, and I think there are others who will enjoy your work as well!

Saluton kaj bonvenon je steemit. Jes lerni alian lingvon ĉiam estas defio, kaj la angla estas neniu escepto. Ŝajne, ke ĝi estas la internacia lingvo nuntempe. Ĉiuj volas aŭ devas lerni la anglan, car ni bezonas komunan internacia lingvo. Mi mem lernis la anglan kaj eĉ vivas nun en Britio. Tamen mi ne vere sentas min memcerta paroli ĝin. Se ĉiuj homoj havus neŭtralan facile lerneblan lingvon la tuta komunikada afero estus pli bone.
