Halo Steemian's, Namaku Andri Maulana. Aku berasal dari daerah yang dulunya terkenal dengan sebutan sebagai kota Petro Dollar. Kota dimana penuh dengan kekayaan alamnya yang terkenal hampir keseluruh dunia. Bagaimana tidak! Sebutan "Petro Dollar" diambil dari hasil kekayan alam yang melimpah ruah lalu dapat membangun seluruh Nusantara dengan hanya mengandalkan kekayaan bumi yang terdapat di Kota ini. Kota yang kaya akan kandunngan gas alam dan mampu mensejahterakan rakyatnya, namun itu semua dulu. Kini semua telah pupus dimakan waktu, perlahan semua itu menghilang ditelan zaman. Kekayaan yang dulu melimpah kini hanya tinggal beberapa sisa-sisa sampah tak berguna. Rakyat yang dulu sejahtera kini telah berubah menjadi peminta, itulah Lhokseumawe.
Aku sebagai seoarang anak asli keturunan Aceh yang sekarang telah menetap di Kota Medan bersama kedua orang tuaku sejak 20 Tahun lalu. Mencoba mencari peruntungan di Kota Madya terbesar ke-3 di Indonesia ini. Masa kecilku telah kuhabiskan separuh kehidupanku di kota ini. Aku menempuh pendidikan hingga mencapai jenjang tertinggi. Saat itu program studi yang aku ambil adalah Sistem Komputer, dimana itu adalah program studi yang telah aku minati sejak masa-masa sekolah. Karena kecintaanku pada dunia komputer telah memberi wawasaan yang luas akan kecanggihan teknologi pada masa modern saat ini. Itulah mengapa aku begitu bersemagnat dalam mempelajari seluk beluk dari teknologi ini. Tak terpungkiri bahwa begitu banyaknya dampak serta manfaat yang telah membuat seluruh umat di bumi ini mampu belajar serta menghabiskan waktu senggang mereka untuk mencari dan juga belajar demi wawasan yang dulunya belum pernah mereka dapatkan.
Oleh karena itu aku juga tak kalah semangatnya dalam mengejar impian untuk menjadi seorang anak yang dapat memberi kebahagiaan kecil kepada kedua orang tuaku. Dan semua itu tak sia-sia, semua perjuangan serta kerja kerasku kini terbayar sudah dengan diterimanya aku sebagai pekerja di salah satu perusahaan yang bertugas di Bandara Internasional Sultan Iskandar Muda. Inilah saatnya aku membalas segala jasa mereka, setidaknya aku telah memberi kebahagiaan kecil terhadap mereka agar mereka tau bahwa aku lahir di dunia ini sebagai anak yang berguna bagi kedua orang tua. Karena kebahagiaan mereka adalah pintu surga bagi kehidupanku kelak, dan tangisan mereka adalah pintu neraka di kehidupan dunia serta akhirat.
Itu saja yang dapat aku ceritakan tentang perjalanan hidupku, walau hanya sesingkat ini namun inilah perjalanan hidup yang telah membuatku sadar bahwa hidup di dunia ini tak semudah membalikkan telapak tangan.
