¡Hola, estimada comunidad Steemit!
Soy Asunción Suniaga, tengo 36 años y nací en Porlamar, Isla de Margarita, Venezuela.
Soy Ingeniero Industrial, Magister en Gerencia de Recursos Humanos y el año pasado recibí mi titulo de Doctora en Educación.
Desde los 8 años estoy en el mundo de la computación, mi padre como Jefe de Computación de la Universidad de Oriente (UDO) nos tuvo actualizados siempre en el tema. Ya a los 15 años empecé a dictar cursos a niños más pequeños sobre todo aquello que había aprendido. Pero siempre admiré a mi padre por su capacidad de liderazgo, lo que me motivó a estudiar Ingeniería Industrial, pues soñaba con ser Gerente de una empresa.
Después de graduada, me fue difícil encontrar trabajo y mi padre me ofreció la posibilidad de trabajar en la Universidad y ahí me quedé. El estar en contacto con la gente, el tener que actualizarme constantemente y lo que alguna vez fueron mis inicios en ésta área, quizás fue lo que me motivó a quedarme. Han pasado 12 años desde que me desempeño como profesora universitaria y aún siento ese deseo de experimentar mi carrera. A lo largo de ese tiempo me he desempeñado como profesora, asesora, investigadora, coordinadora adjunta de servicio comunitario, de área, de pasantias, de investigación, de trabajo de grado y finalmente soy coordinadora del Programa de Licenciatura en Administración.
Hoy día, no todo es como lo soñé, pero no pierdo las esperanzas de cumplir mis sueños. Ya he logrado varios en otros ámbitos gracias a Jehová Dios, pero El quien es el mejor que me conoce y quien sabe lo que es mejor para mi, me concederá a su tiempo los deseos de mi corazón. Por ahora, sigo viviendo, sigo soñando y sigo creyendo "Porque sin fe, es imposible agradar a Dios" (Hebreos 11:6)
