WHO AM I?
My life probably started when I got pregnant at an early age, 18. With no degree (yet), no work experience, and very few resources, you can only imagine how anxious I felt.
Fortunately, life has been so good to me so far. Despite the many struggles I went through, I think I have emerged triumphant as a mother and as a person.
Meet my handsome son.
I have a degree in Bachelor of Arts in English with major in Language and Literature, but before I shifted to this course I previously took up Civil Engineering. Funny how life has its own way of twisting our fate!
My college life wasn't easy considering my situation at the time. I worked as a call center agent for Linksys for two years, and have also worked as a telemarketer at Apo View Hotel in Davao for 6 months. With barely 4 hours or less of sleep everyday, I am very proud to say, I have earned my degree! Yay!
The things I experienced so far taught me so much in life, and I have gained so much wisdom as well. I am excited to share this difficult yet beautiful journey with you, and hopefully many can find inspiration from it.
WHAT I DO?
After I graduated,I worked as a freelance virtual assistant for 7 years focusing on content writing, search engine optimization, and social media marketing. The pay was good, and for a while, I lived a good and productive life. I also had enough time to fulfill my duties as a mother.
However, I belong in a family whose upbringing tells every member that one has to study hard in order to land a good job, and I knew I have to fulfill their desire for me to have (what they refer to as) a more STABLE JOB.
So I became a teacher. I am now teaching English subjects to Grade 11 and 12 students. Being a teacher gives me joy and fulfillment. Teaching is a very noble profession. From waking up early, to sleeping late due to paper works and lesson preparations, I could only have respect and admiration to all teachers.
We are a family of educators so it is an obvious choice to put up a school business. Currently, we own a small preschool. My mother and I are both running it, while being employed in DepEd. Of course, it is hard to jumble all workloads, but luckily, things get done.
WHAT ARE MY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS?
Transitioning... from a melancholic tone, let me share the fun side about me! ☺
I always have a sense of adventure and zest for life. My ex-boyfriend (who was an introvert) once told me, I couldn't be tamed (lol), and yes this is quite true. How can I not heed to the call of the chanting of the waves, or not marvel the mystic grandeur of nature? I knew I needed to sate my wanderlust!
With the adventures that I have had so far, the most memorable ones are the time when I travelled SOLO. There is a different kind of excitement and fulfillment when traveling alone. Having said, I would love to go on more solo trips in the future.
I love to travel, whether solo or with friends. My dream is to become a digital nomad - earning a living through blogging, while living life to the fullest! I hope to gain friends and acquiantances here on Steemit who have the same aspirations as I have.
MORE THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ME…
I love to learn different dialects from my country. Currently, I can speak and understand Bisaya (my mother tongue), English (my 2nd language), Filipino (my 3rd language). I have also learned to understand and speak (a little bit of) Mandaya, Ilokano, Maranao, Maguindanao, and Ilonggo.
I love Korean Dramas. Some of my favorite dramas include Jumong (all time favorite), Descendants of the Sun, Kill Me Heal Me, While You Were Sleeping, etc.
For some reasons, I also got hooked with the music of Bigbang and BTS, but I can’t really say that I'm a fan of K-pop music since these two are the only K-pop bands that I listen to. Just last September 2017, I went to G-Dragon’s ACT III: Motte concert in Araneta, Manila. So I guess I can consider myself a FANGIRL then? Lol
I am a horror movie fanatic! So if you need recommendations as to what horror movies to watch, ask me. Haha
I am not a reader, which is ironic since I am a (self-proclaimed) writer and an English teacher. So to supplement what I lack, I watch a lot of Hollywood TV series. My all-time favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother, followed by Game of Thrones, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Vikings. Well, I also like Pretty Little Liars.
I am a frustrated artist (though I am not very talented). I love to express my thoughts and emotions through writing, but I don’t know if I can really call myself a writer. I love to take pictures, especially from places I’ve been to, but I can’t consider myself a photographer.
I know there's so much to improve, but I am very willing to learn. And, I believe this community can bring me new learning each day. Thank you so much to my support team #steemitachievers for guiding me as I start my journey in this digital platform.

It was introduced to me by my Philosophy teacher, iya jud q gipugos na mutan aw sa 82 episodes which is also equivalent to almost 82 hours! Lol! But worth it rasad kay nindot jud xa. haha.
