Hi everyone,

Wow, this so feels like some so of dating interview/speed dating moment, not that I have ever been speed dating, maybe I should...... But anyhow, here we go.......

My names Jay, I'm from the uk/London originally and i moved to South Australia some 8 years ago with my then parter..... Moving here has been great in part, loads healthier, better tan, colder beer and all the other things that make life so good, except friends.... It gets pretty lonely out here and I have to admit honestly, Im not the best at meeting new people.....So i found new found some new friends through playing online games on the xbox, another new experience which seemed to work well..... and now after a couple of sketchy live streams, i am getting back into my music. Having been a label dj for many yrs and personally having a keen ear for music, i have a vast catalog of tunes in all formats which i am looking forward to sharing..... Along with the music, i love art, clothing and Star Wars.... S o be prepared for lost of blog posts all about it all and some live videos.

Looking forward to being part pf the steemit community and making lots of new friends..... :)

Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
