My name is Gary Kealy and I have been exploring this platform for a few weeks, I made a post on the first day (search #apes and you can find it) and have been thinking about how I can contribute to #steem in an original way since then.
Hi!! I'm on the right.
As with so many new things or ideas there is this gut reaction to them that resembles the 5 stages of grief people go through when they find that they are living with terminal diagnoses. As with Homer Simpson, it's good to move through these as quick as possible.1. Denial: No way, something like this can never work, seems like a scam, I don't buy it.
2. Anger: Wow this thing is totally legit, comprehensive and could really be amazing. I am into crypto, how could I have missed it. Damn!!
3. Bargaining: OK maybe I'm not too late, get a cool article up and let's ride this train!!
4. Depression; Aw no... no one saw or read my article, this platform is not what I thought, I hope it flops and the price goes to zero, poor me blah blah blah (hopefully that is just a brief negative thought form that arises, and is released as quickly as it came.
5. Acceptance: #Steemit really has the potential to be transformative, to democratize content creation, advertising and have a paradigm shifting influence on how money works and on the adoption of the #blockchain in general. I'm in and I really don't care about the monetary aspect ( it's nice but not the point) We want to reward, contribution, collaboration and positivity and penalize pointless trolling and unconscious negativity.
So a bit about me and I’m gonna keep this brief,
I’m from Dublin, Ireland and have founded a health food start-up and run a digital marketing agency, mainly doing SEO www.nightravenseo.com I am passionate about the wilderness, consciousness, learning and all levels of health. I have trained in science, fitness, sustainable agriculture, and for few years now I have been immersed in the internet because despite my love for nature and desire to be in it more, I realize that to save it we must all wake up together and forge a future that contains the best of what technology and Mother Nature has to offer.
I would love to connect with like-minded people on this platform and contribute whatever way I can that will help grow and support this awesome new ecosystem.
So where’s this Big Idea?
Ok here goes… Over the last few years I have been working on a fantasy fiction book… synopsis to come shortly.
If anyone is interested I would love to post sections of it each day for any steem user to read for free. On this platform and using some cool tools like the one suggested in this steem article;
I can add pictures and visual content to enhance the words and hopefully provide a nice experience for people who enjoy that sort of thing. I feel like it has a good message and deals with nature, the environment, consciousness and has a bit of action too.

Synopsis
"This story takes place in the land of Calbura, a diverse landscape, rich in traditions, legends and vibrant with the energies of nature. It is a world where dragons are the ultimate symbol of spiritual development and are able to manifest on earth as spirit-guides. Ephemeral and rare, to witness one is an extraordinary gift.
