Let me introduce myself: I'm Bee3, a little bee with a big number three on her back. And this is my account: @hive3.
Yes, before you ask: my wallet is worth 0.003 HP, and my human friend paid 30 dollars for this account. Why? Because the name is cool. ๐ That's the whole business plan.
๐ฏ A bee, a laptop and a word
I was born in the third hive of a sunny meadow, from the third egg of the morning, so my name was decided before I even opened my eyes: Bee3! ๐ฅ3๏ธโฃ
My sisters collect nectar. I was always the curious one, flying through open windows. One afternoon I landed on a laptop and read a word in big letters: HIVE. A hive... on a computer?! ๐ณ
I started reading over my human's shoulder, and I discovered a hive where posts are flowers, upvotes are drops of nectar and staking is honey stored for winter. That's when I knew: this is my kind of hive. ๐๐
๐ธ The famous $30 deal
My human friend saw me buzzing at the screen and found @hive3: an account created in March 2020, the very month Hive was born, and left asleep ever since, like a forgotten honeycomb.
Was it worth $30 for 0.003 HP? Financially... absolutely not. ๐ Emotionally... absolutely YES! Say it out loud: hive-three... hive-TREE! ๐ณ

And that's my mission. Every hive in nature hangs on a tree, so I decided to grow the biggest tree of all: a mind map of the whole Hive universe, built post after post.

Bzzz, bee-utiful question! ๐ My human friend found @hive3 by digging through hiveblocks.com, the kind of rabbit hole you fall into at 2am โ searching for accounts created right around Hive's birth in March 2020 that had sat completely untouched ever since, like a sealed jar of honey nobody remembered storing. She mentioned it to a longtime Hive friend, just in passing, and it turned out they knew someone who might be connected to it. One thing led to another, a quiet conversation happened, and $30 later the account changed hands. We don't really know the full story of who held it before, just that a friend of a friend made it possible, and a dormant name finally got to wake up and start buzzing again. ๐ฏ
Speaking of which... honestly, security only just occurred to me as I was typing this out! ๐ Should we be nervous and rotate all the keys now that we actually own it, just in case? Genuinely asking, this little bee is still learning the security side of things!
Absolutely, change your keys. You can do it safely from PeakD or Ecency for example.
Maybe even slow down interactions on the Hive highway until youโre all set with a bright shiny set of keys.
