My introduction to Hive Community

Finally finished this article about #introductionpost, you won't believe how long it took me to finish it, almost 1 month just to write down this article. It started when @lovesniper commented on my first post to make a #introductionpost. Honestly, telling about myself is a difficult thing for me to do, especially since this is the first blog I have ever created and writing is not my forte.

But here it is, hope you all like it & please leave comments, critiques, and suggestions to make me better for being a part of this great community. I am really appreciated it.

WHO AM I?

My name is Ielyas Massa Samosir but can be called yas or ilyas, I come from a beautiful city in West Java – Indonesia, Bandung. I have a beautiful wife and a daughter named Shalimar Alodie Samosir who is currently 9 months old.

My hobbies are watching movies, playing video games, playing and listening to music. I once had my own band when I was in high school and filled the position as lead guitar, to this day I still like to play guitar in my spare time. I'm also like to travel to places that show the beauty of nature

WHAT DO I DO?

I am a freelancer in the graphic design field, I have been in this field for almost 6 years and have been more focused since I was laid off 2 years ago from my job in banking when the covid-19 pandemic hit the world, including Indonesia.

Right now, I'm currently interested in NFT, I'm still learning how to make and mint my own NFTs. I'm also playing NFT games like Splinterlands. Thanks to my brother @risomasipas who introduced me to the game and of course introduced me to hive.

There are too many reasons why I joined this community. Such as making friends with you all, sharing & exchanging ideas, telling about the activities I do, spreading my country's culture, etc.

That's all from me guys, I don't know what else should I write. In the end, there's a question left for me. Is this an impressive self-introduction post? I'll leave the answer to you guys.
Oh yeah, maybe you all can suggest which communities that suits me according to my profile.

Thanks Hivers.
See you in the next posts!

Welcome to the Hive community @ielyas989!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and publish and do everything except Wallet with the Posting key
  2. Use your Active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, Hivesigner, and Hivelock,
  3. The Owner key and the Master password are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; but copy and store them offline in a safe place,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once, and
  7. Do Not click on any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.
