Hey there, hive fam. I'm Irene, but Irenz is a nickname my friends gave me, so well, it's grown on me. I'm a final year medical student in the university of Port-Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria.
I absolutely love sports, I love to play outdoor games like volleyball, table tennis and badminton as well as board games like scrabble and ludo in my spare time; I'm also learning how to swim and play lawn tennis🙄. I also love to watch movies and series, read novels, play board games and...did you guess it?sleep!! I love to sleep, my beauty sleep is 100% as important to me as everything else in the world I love.
I wouldn't have given a good introduction of myself if I didn't mention that I loooove shopping!Clothes,sneakers,wristwatches...name it! I love shopping so much,it's almost therapeutic for me🙄. I also love to pester my friends🙈.I mean,what's the point of having friends if you can't pester them all day long? The world would be pretty boring if we were all sitting quiet?
I have a motto,this is what reminds me to just be me and not bother about so much,here it is:
"You'll get the best when you appreciate the rest of what you've got." It says it all,and yet it's so simple.
I'm really excited to be part of this platform, I hope to meet new, friendly, open-minded and interesting people, as well as share my knowledge and views on topics I'm passionate about, such as gender-based violence, care for the mentally ill and migration intentions of medical students and physicians in the Sub-saharan region, to name a few.
