Justice

It's about time everyone takes a step back and gets a look at the bigger picture here. There is only one President in this countries history and he is about to face charges that amount to the equivalent, if in wartime, of treason and in peacetime of crimes against the United States. Words to make anyone with the slightest inclination of patriotism shudder with contempt for those involved. Given the magnitude and seriousness of the situation, the president has very little options at his disposal to rid himself of the evidence of such crimes that if convicted would send him and his co-conspirators away to prison for a very long time and into a dark place in the history books.
He has long since passed any chance at redemption and he will never fully recover and will never become whole in or out of office, ever again. His only hope is to either search out technicalities or to corrupt the process by which the Government and the people can uphold their sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution and everything it stands for. This is not a political witchhunt by any means. This is a carefully orchestrated process by which the President will be held to a certain standard that in effect will be well below the bar for any ordinary citizen who would have long since been arrested, tried and convicted as was Paul Manifort Trump's campaign manager. This investigation is based not on politics but on a search for where this moral and ethical failure by those who attempted to circumvent fair and honest competition went incredibly wrong. Crimes committed if not out of sheer ignorance at least out of orchestrated defiance. President Trump's failure to both ignore and blatantly and openly disregard the moral and ethical responsibilities that were to follow the candidate on to an imperious role on the world stage where he alone has become the epitome of everything that is wrong with America. Justice will come, that is a certainty. This sad chapter in America's great experiment will end and we too will have learned one thing. Never again shall we take for granted the most powerful weapon humanity has ever awarded itself, the right to vote.
