My first astrophoto - M31 Andromeda Galaxy

Hi! I am Efe 👋

I am a full-stack developer based out of Katowice, Poland, and almost more than 4 years working for @blocktrades. I create fun, innovative, and performant apps in my day job, at the night I am a follower of my childhood dreams, like astronomy, astrophotography and music.

As a developer I have a strong interest in creating end-to-end solutions from creating a design concept and planning the product development right through to launching the software, which drives me to actively build experience with technologies such as Node.js, Next.js, MongoDB, Redis, Websockets, Docker, and lot more. I also enjoy styling with CSS, using modern technologies like flex and grid for clean and cross-compatible views. Additionally, I have extensive experience in Continuous Integration and Deployments. I have used Gitlab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and also tools for container management like Docker and Kubernetes.

As a space lover I like to learn anything about the cosmos, space communication and radio telescopes. Also I am an amateur astrophotographer and observer of the night sky.

As a music lover I am playing piano and synthesizers, listening to music without choosing any specific genre, and actively learning music composition combining with analog and digital instruments.

Except those, I love being active in many sport disciple like windsurfing, skiing, hiking, swimming, and tennis.

And I love animals! I have 3 cats and 1 dog. One day I would like to have a green iguana :)

So, let's get to the point!
I was following Hive anonymously, sometimes I enjoyed seeing interesting contents and sometimes I learnt new things from it. Finally I decided to join and share my experience in programming, astronomy and music with you.

Looking forward to exchange knowledge and have fun together!

Incredible! In just a few sentences, you have made more money (and gained more reputation) than I have in 4 years of daily commenting and curation.

Is it good, I think? 😵‍💫

Awesome space photo! Looking forward to seeing more from you!

Glad you liked it! More on the way soon :)

Thank you for coming out of anonymity because out in the open hive is so much more enjoyable

Hello Efe, It's great to finally see you posting on Hive!

Hey! Thanks, my dear.. Gandalf

Hey there!

it is good to see a picture of m31

You know there is an individual named @m31 here at hive.

It is refreshing to see something simple and original.

Oh, really? Hi from NGC1559 to @m31 Galaxy, then :)

Oh hello there! From one galaxy to another, congrats on your decision to come out of the shadows and the lurker mode into the light! :) And you seem to have pretty cool interests and hobbies there I can relate to as well, I hope to see some posts in future about them :) That would be really awesome!

That's a neat photo you took!

I'm also a full-stack developer like yourself but probably not as good. I'm happy to see more nerds blogging on Hive.

GOD BLESS THE NERDS!!!

Thanks! This photo was really easy to take and I was in shock when I saw the result. It was taken with decent refractor telescope and Sony A6000 mirrorless cam. Some more photos, and equipment info on the way.

Beign a nerd is a lifestyle!

welcome to the hive friend.

Welcome to Hive @ngc1559! I look forward to learning more from you over time.

Thanks for warm welcome!

Hive'a hosgeldin. Her ne kadar bir suredir aslinda buralarda olsan da :)

Welcome Efe. Nice to see you're actively posting.

Hey! Thanks Emre :)

Hello! Astrophotography must be so fun😍 3 cats and 1 dog, I suppose that the cats are the masters lol.

Hi! Astrophoto is relatively easy to start with but the equipment is much much more expensive when you want more to shoot or see. Our dog is under control of our cats, yes . I am sorry for him sometimes :)

What breed is he?

Small Munsterlander 🐶

Here is he

Welcome!

Glad you liked it! Yes, true. It is the closest galaxy to our milky way :)

Hello! Nice to meet you! Like you, I am a newbie here too. Hope to interact with you more in the future! :)

Welcome to the hive.

I have a very good friend in Nigeria by the name Efe, and he is such a jolly soul.

Hi Efe🤗. Welcome to hive

Hi @ngc1559 , welcome to hive! Looking forward to read your posts about programming and astronomy. When I was in college, I got bad grades at programming so I'm excited to know about it more.

Cool, hello. I like everything you listed, plus I like Blocktrades.

Welcome to Hive!

3 cats and 1 dog? Are you @hiddenblade?

Thanks! No, I am not @hiddenblade

Hi! Nice to meet you :)

Katowice ha, you good at CS:GO maybe?

Nice to meet you, too. I am not playing CS:GO but I know here in Katowice some big CS tournaments happening.

Your writing is very interesting, I really enjoyed reading it

Hi Efe, it is a pleasure to welcome you on board, I will be happy to see more of you :)

Thanks for warm welcome 🙏🏽

You have quite a lot of hobbies mate, made me feel a bit uncomfortable 🤣🤣

Glad to see you around.

Oh, do you happen to watch Lex Fridman?

He tends to invite legit brilliant people and discuss the most abstract ideas regarding the true nature of cosmos. Quite refreshing podcast with a lot of brilliant minds. Might find it handy if you haven't seen it already.

Why it made you feel uncomfortable?

I will definitely check his podcast! It looks interesting :)
