Hi everyone. My first attempt at an introduce yourself post got flagged, I'm not sure why. I'm into news, nature and nature conservation. Dose any one knows some good pages on Steemit for people with my interests or for people new to Steemit?
I'm not sure how to start out in steemit.

Hey @spaceship-earth, keep in mind the flagging system is not always a bad thing. Often when there is mistagging someone will flag it. The common courtesy is to tell someone why you are flagging them, however, not everyone is courteous. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Did you happen to delete the information that was in the previous post? I am assuming so.
One way to make sure to not be flagged is to make sure everything you post is 100% yours, but if it isn't, be sure you give a source where the item you are using came from. We have some amazing people here who can tell where everything comes from. It's kinda scary sometimes. Haha.
I am not actually sure what pages those would be, but let's see if I can find you some tags to look for. There are tags for news, newslink, and nature. You can also look at tags like steemitworldmap. I know @xcountytravelers has things about state parks and such.

I have been flagged for my actifit posts.. although it is it's own dapp and it's the only way to claim activity..
However, some people will flag because of their own sense of justice.
I guess I can see why you were so combative when you saw my flags if your first post got crushed, but since you edited out the content there, I can't easily see whether you were in fact doing something worthy of a flag or not. It could have been actual trolls, or someone could have thought you were sharing images that weren't original or properly credited.
Don’t be too discouraged the bots do get it wrong from time to time! Just keep posing authentic content and you’ll be fine
As for finding posts you like I suggest checking out hashtags and commenting on the popular posts there you’ll find the curators and big authors in areas you like and they will pull you into their circles on discord and steemit

There is nothing wrong with your first post I already checked it, you don't have to feel bad about it. Steem ecosystem just like the real world sometimes you meet good people and sometimes you meet not so-good people.
My suggestion is to tell a bit more about yourself, for example, your hobbies, interests ... The more you introduce about yourself the better.
For example, if you like Art you can join @ntopaz or If you like to review good restaurants you can try @tasteem
