Today is the SARASWATI PUJA FESTIVAL IN INDIA
The Saraswati Puja is highly significant in the Indian subcontinent. Although we worship the goddess Saraswati as deity education, intellectual, art and architecture but the Bengalis celebrate this particular day as "Bengali Valentine's day". On this day the couples are seen walking along the streets slowly by holding their partner's hands together tightly. A romantic ambience is audited everywhere. Although these incidents share the tales of adolescence period.

The story was totally different in our childhood days. we could not sleep all the night before the day of Saraswati Puja. we would make a list of planning’s for the next morning. A sense of excitement worked in our inner mind. In the next morning we would wake up and wash our face and hand and then get out from houses. we, the group of little boys and girls would collect fresh flowers and fruits to worship Saraswati Mata. we would make the arrangements beautifully and artistically. At last heroism would come and showed his religious veneration and devotion towards Saraswati Devi. After completing the puja, we would go to see the idols of Saraswati in schools and colleges in our area. We would come back at noon to take lunch. Then we would go back home. The days of Saraswati Puja were very passionate to us. Even now, the memory of all those days are remained in our heart.
as ages step forward, physical and mental changes are evident with their own characteristic’s features. Love with its magical power has already been entered in our lives. we are now slaves of the cupid, God of love. on the days of Saraswati Puja the beautiful girls would wear clothes specially light-yellow colour sarees. A group of Romeos would chase behind their Juliet’s Sometimes the gang of Juliet’s would give a flying kiss towards their Romeos. It would madden the young boys. Sometimes the boy would propose his dream girl with a bouquet of roses or with the single rose. with the end of our school life this romantic story are also lost forever.
when Saraswati Puja in college life strikes in my mind, I can visualise the scene where a crowd of teenagers gather together and everyone is busy to snap selfies either with their friends for girlfriends/ boyfriends. After that they upload that photos in social media with romantic two liners or four liners. Then they leave the ground to lunch together. The whole situation seems to be artificial.
Everything has been changed vastly under the law of nature but the feeling of excitement is still lived.Saraswati Puja, from the past to present, creates a unique sensation to young boys and girls.
"Bengali Valentine's day" is more acceptable than Basant Panchami tithi to all Bengalis.
AL through everyone has there one calender for lovemaking, for Indians, specially bengali’s have the day today, enjoying the day without a boyfriend ☹ . wish someone would propose me on next.
