My Introduceyourself... My Way!

Hi dear steemians!

The truth is that I never did an introdusyourself, because in my beginnings on Steemit, I didn't understand it very well and being everything in English, maybe it was difficult for me to process all the information at the same time.

I've been on the platform for two months and I'm going to make this introduction my way. If anyone knows me, I try to create funny stories. Well, this time I will talk about myself and with some personal photos, true to my style, I'll be ashamed.

I leave a photo that I like, to start with high self-esteem. I'll try to start like a gallant and then go self-destructing throughout the story. It never bothered me laugh at myself and even though I could have cut the next photo, I preferred to leave it as it is, so that you can notice the detail of the bottle and to prepare for how it would end that night...

My name is Martin Willenberg, in Argentina the name Martin are nicknamed Tincho.

That's why practically everybody calls me tincho. I've always thought that I don't know why my parents gave me a name, because practically NOBODY uses it with me. I have to recognize and although I don't like to say it, that isn't my only nickname. I once took the account of the nicknames, which different friends and family used with me and I think they reached more than 20. I mention some:

tincho, willy, winnie de pooh, wachinfore, tin, bergwillen, cabezon, wally, martincho, tinchi, doble U, doble V, etc etc.

I study Industrial Engineering and as you can see, I'm a sociable person, little conflicted and if I can help, I will always do it. I have a strong character and if I have to say what bothers me, I say it.

I go out a lot with friends and as you will see, some pictures will always find me with a glass in my hand. I'm not alcoholic, I practically don't drink alcohol in the week but when I go out on weekends, more than once, I wake up the other day thinking: What happened yesterday?

Clearly the following picture is a good example. I honestly don't remember that moment and they are one of those situations in which one regrets. I clarify that she is just a friend and that we were just having fun... Well, at least I was having fun...

Personally, every day I try to be positive.

It's weird, that someone makes me angry, I always try to be optimistic and encourage someone who needs it. Having studied subjects related to energy, I'm dazzled by the idea that we are all made up of atoms, and that these atoms are all interconnected. Being here and maybe another person in Japan, I'm captivated by the idea that in some way, I'm connected to him and the whole world itself.

I'm of the idea that the thought has a lot of power and that is why, I try to be positive every day. Whatever it takes, I always look for the way to find the good in what happens to me, beyond that sometimes, it becomes impossible. I have not always been like this and I have to recognize that life is much simpler, since I started putting this into practice.

Excellent example is the following photo, where for thinking this way, I got two beautiful girls at my sides, even though my face was starting to suffer a Tsunami...

I think that in general, the focus of people in our world, is wrong.

Trying to pretend that happiness is the consequence of having a wardrobe full of unnecessary objects. We live in a world of consumption, where there is a system that constantly presses us every day to want to possess more things. I don't know why, from where this is born to me, but my idea or philosophy of life is totally opposed to this current. Obviously money helps, but my happiness is based on appreciating simple aspects of our lives, which for being common, seem to lose value.

The time for me is precious and I try every day to take advantage of it. I love to fully enjoy a chat with a friend. I enjoy silence when I'm in the middle of nowhere. I love feeling the sun on my face, or feeling my dog licking my hand...

Steemit has become a big part of my life.

From day one, I love this platform and I have always tried to contribute my grain of sand. I have created the SpanishChallenge to try to encourage and value Spanish-speaking writers. I created User's chain, out of pure love for this platform. We create with other users on Facebook and Twitter, Steemit Argentina to promote the platform, among some other initiatives. But what I have always tried and with what I identify, is to make humor and try to make other users laugh with my stories. The one who read some of my stories, will have seen that many are based on love failures. Most, if not all, are fiction but I have to admit, I love women but they have made me suffer sometimes, more than I deserved. And the next picture I think represents pretty well this... Drunk and trying to imitate Leonardo and Kate on Titanic. I know that I did better...

I don't know if I consider myself feminist or not, but I think I'm very close to that current of thought.

I don't know if it's because practically my mother raised me alone or because I only had aunts and loved my grandmother. Women, I think they have many qualities that men have there, but in a smaller amount. Sensitivity, maternal instinct, being methodical and the ability to understand from a more human optics. I don't know if I explain myself, but as a sign of envy of all these aspects, is the following photo... :P

I find it okay to mention some of my flaws.

Sometimes, I tend to be a pretty proud person, I find it hard to recognize mistakes. Another flaw is that I smoke, I know I have to leave it for a health issue. I'm pretty distracted sometimes and I usually forget dates, names, etc. I have made many mistakes that I regret. Another defect that I have, sometimes I'm a prejudiced person and perhaps most of the time I'm wrong. And as usual, we don't like to show our flaws, so I put the next photo, because I'm hiding and I don't want to continue with this part of my introduction...

I really don't know what I was trying to do in this photo, I was already in the phase of drunk, on the way to finish in a ditch...

Steemit for me has meant a great change in my life.

Beyond the income that allows me, they are in itself a great help. This platform stimulated in me, in an inexplicable way, creativity. Since I joined, my head has not stopped thinking about ideas to improve and grow this beautiful social network.

I never did it in a post, but it seems opportune to deeply thank to @ned for giving us the opportunity, to those who were looking for this. A place where cordiality, respect and quality content is what prevail. A place where good energy abounds and new relationships are formed. In my short time here, I have already tightened ties that I take forever with me, and this is thanks to Steemit. I will not mention them because they are so many, but I know that when they read this, they will feel identified.

I promise to keep trying to grow our community and if from time to time, I can get a smile from you, it will be a pleasure!

Yes, I had to make my introduction, because I never talk about myself on the platform, I always create fiction stories. However, before doing so, ask if it was correct. And they all told me that there was no problem, so here I am.
