Hello All!

Hello world! My name is Matthew Pamatian, I am turning 30 this year! (I still feel like a kid though.) I graduated highschool from a military school, and didnt attend college or join the military, and therefore I work doing manual labor, for minimum wage.

As a young adult, I never thought that I would become an activist or politically involved.. I just wanted to hangout, smoke pot with my friends, longboard, skate, or play counter-strike.
Well... in Junior year of H.S. we moved in with my moms boyfriend, and I began the year at my 3rd H.S. (Canby High).
Being the only kid in the house, now that my sister was couch hopping, and being in a new neighborhood (after being uprooted from a place Id lived for basically my whole life) with little to no desire to form new connections: Counter-strike and my PC became high on my list of priorities.. but a guy can only play so many hours of FPS games, and create so many playlists on soundcloud before he gets bored and starts down the YT rabbit hole.

Im not sure exactly what it was that kept pulling me deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole, while simultaneously forming my concern for politics, and society in general.. maby it had something to do with the Irag/Afghanistan wars that had been being waged since basically the time of my birth, culminating in the Sept. 11th attacks on the WTC and Pentagon.

So this rabbit hole that I had stumbled into, probably started with watching YT videos of UFO sightings or something strange like that.. and a video came across the suggested feed called "Zeitgeist" which was about 3 hours long, so I figured it had to be groundbreaking, so I proceeded to watch, and my mind began to be blown wide open. needless to say I unknowingly join the "TruthMovement" and I had become a 9/11 truther.

The Zeitgeist movie brought up alot of informating and tied in alot of false claims to make everything blend together in an unquestionably factual manner. It promoted the conspiracy of a secret cabal of jewish bankers manipulating money markets, funding both sides of wars, organizing a path to global government, and orchestrating schemes of population control, etc, etc.

(this is a long post, and could make a great podcast.)

Going from being a 17y/o to my early 20's I moved again and went to 2 new highschools, and kind of dropped my concern developed out of boredom.. but picked it up again at around age 23.. this is the point in my life where I felt I was becoming an adult and needed to become in-touch with politics/society. it was probably due to the occupy wallstreet protests and the growing overt discontent with the 1% aswell as the growing popularity of documenting/publishing video of police brutality.

needless to say, since I was previously a truther, I easily went back into that groove and picked rite back up on the trail I was going down into the rabbit hole, I found AlexJones! and InfoWars! and BillCooper! etc.etc.. like being at a buffet, I put a little bit of everything on my plate, not leaving anything to be subject to the FOMO effect.

Im not really sure what the turning point for me was into researching and promoting sane and rational, actionable solutions to address "this situation that we are ALL suffering under". Maby it had something to do with the look in peoples eyes when I would try to "wake them up" and make them aware of things like 9/11 truth and the "Illuminati's" involvement in everything bad perpetrated on the people of this earth.. The look in there eyes was that they were talking to a crazy person.

Im not sure when, or how it happened, but at some point (age 24 or 25) I started to realize that "The land of the free and home of the brave" had really become to be "The land of the weak, and home of the slave". and realizing that a long train of abuses and usurpations had been forced upon the american people, I started to look for ways that I could regain the promise that was made to me in the founding documents of this country - "That all men are created equal, and are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights" and to secure these rights, a government was instituted among men, who derived their powers from the consent of the governed, and that this government and those men chosen to enforce the founding documents were supposed secure our lives, liberty, property, and therefore our pursuit of happiness.

Realizing that these promises of utopia had been stripped from our consciousness, and that the constitution for these once united states of america, was overshadowing the separate but equal state governments, and their respective constitutions(Federal supremacy), I started looking for actionable solution to combat this situation. I started googling terms like "plan for peaceful revolution" and "restore the republic".

Anyways without ruining this short-longstory, and leaving a conversation to be had later.. I found these 4 website.. and 3 incredibly dedicated and awesome people behind the scenes: SleepySalsa, Gary Hunt, and Shane Radliff.

Respectively their Web2.0 spots can be found at
Thelastbastille.wordpress.com
Outpost-of-freedom.com
Committee.org
& Libertyunderattack.com

My goal here on Web3.0 is not only to help create a new decentralized community, but to network with like minded people, and to bring Gary, Shane, And Sleepy's hard work onto this platform, and share it with you guys, and save it from the possibility of Web2.0 terminating its existence forever, as has happened to some of the older podcasts hosted on Stitcher/Radio4All/and BlogTalk.

Please feel free to contact me, and spark up a conversation, invite me to do a podcast with you, have long discussion.. what ever it is, I am here for you, and the betterment of the human experience on this earth.

What a great read. And WELCOME!
Your path resembles mine and though where we ended up at different URLS (I'll check these links out, thanks!), the thinking seems to be of the same.

The thing about rabbit holes is they're made by rabbits before you got there. Or maybe it's a badger hole. Either way, it's made to get you to follow it. I'm glad to see someone else got themselves out of that stickiness and put a plan of action forth to counter strike. <- hey full circle lol from Counter Strike to a COUNTER STRIKE.

It wasn't Zeitgeist that did it for me, it was this even more obscure 63 part YT doc from the Middle East called The Arrivals: a Noreagaa Production. I've looked for it since i gobbled it up in 2009 but so far no luck. Closest i got was an archive site that mentioned it but didn't have any live links. I can find chunks of it but the juicy parts have long been removed.

I still think about that doc and what they laid out. I would give anything to meet these people and talk to them. I liked that it was from the complete opposite of our Western society; their critiques on our culture felt more true and thought-out, because of the outside perspective they have.

I still don't know how i would word what i believe is happening. I've turned to action instead, as no one's waiting for my opinion and I can make something beautiful instead of overthinking.

That said, my search for truth doesn't stop, just the conclusions have. It even got me all the way to the English countryside making crop circles, but that's another story altogether.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your thoughts. You write beautifully, I'm surprised you haven't been to higher education.

There's this quote I think of when in this realm:
"At the end of open-mindedness is skepticism." no one important said it, it's just true.

Thanks a lot for your comment! I’ll try and keep writing, and doing vlogs!

Agree in many ways life is like a roller-coaster ride in ideas and ideology. Finding solutions or truth is climbing down the rabbit hole.

Hope you enjoy Hive and find a comfortable new home to share your insights going forward.

Thank you vary much for the welcoming words!

Just always remember to have loads of fun...

Hi and welcome to Hive. It takes a bit of getting used to, but you're sure to get there. When you feel ready have a look at the communities as I'm sure there will be some that fit your interests. While I have an interest in this area, I don't generally post about it, so I'm not sure which ones would be the go-to, but I think Deep Dives and there should be a curation account around somewhere called @informationwar, but I don't know if they have a community. I've recently seen a free speech community too.

I've seen Zeotgeist referenced quite often, but have never seen it myself. I feel like I'll have gotten most of the information along the way, though. I found the Corbett Reports on How and Why Big Oil Conquered the World informative, with a few "aha!" moments.

Alex Jones makes me laugh. He's just so exuberant and his stuff seems so far out there, but when Joe Rogan had him on and checked the far fetched sounding things he was saying, they all turned out to be correct! Unfortunately, he's easy to make an example of as a crazy person, which doesn't help with trying to open people's eyes. I can't take him in anything but short doses, either, he's just to loud and excitable for me.

Thanks for the reply!
Idk if I've said it to you yet, but feel free to check out the community I created called "RestoreTheRepublic".
That is the effort that I hope go encourage in this country.

I'd be happy to explain in further detail if you have a discord and wanna talk or are ever interested in doing a
Podcast or just chatting.

I’m actually in Australia, so viewing from afar.

The offer always stands, and the fact that your Australian makes me wanna talk to you even more!

Hi man. Nice to see a guy I have so much in common with. Iraq/Afganistan things were also a big wake up call for me and the 2008 crisis later on, on the topic of the finance system. I watched Zeitgeist as well at the beginning of my journey, the first step to understanding the creation of money which was necessary to consciously get into crypto. And I see the whole blockchain thing as a major part of the "peaceful revolution" to come.

Also, I'm turning 30 in 2days :)

How did you get to know about Hive? Feel free to ask if you need any help with getting started. A good point to start is to browse communities and discover the most popular tags to make your posts easier to find.

Thanks for the helpful info, it sucks that I haven’t quite caught onto the need to put lots of tags onto your posts in order to increase exposure, I’ll stop acting like a boomer soon enough though.

I heard about hive from Shane Hazel aswell as the #whylibertarian podcast.
Not to mention the build up of crypto currency being talked about in libertarian/anarcho-capitalist/agorist circles.. and basically being 6 years or so late to the party haha

It's 3 years and I'm still learning this place, don't worry. IMO it's still super early comparing to what will take place in the next few years.

Feel free to ask if you'd need any help.

Welcome to the Hive community Matthew @unorgmilitia!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, keychain and Peaklock,
  3. The owner password is only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and
be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own
    .
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

Have fun and happy Hiving!

Thank you! Yea I was having some trouble getting a community group set up, and kitty from the terminal held my hand and walked me through the process, I’m vary greatful to the terminal! And there have been a bunch of people who’ve helped me already and this was only my 2nd day on hive!
What a beautiful place!

Good to meet you Matthew, I relate to your cause. You have chosen well with Hive as well as with your project to put the truth on the blockchain. Keep up the good work.

Matt,

I'm sorry it took me so long to get up and running. The whole Liberty thing and podcasting is a side hustle and I just went to 5 nights a week so I'm inundated, lol. Self-inflicted wound though!

I would love to have you on a podcast to talk about your background and what brought you to where you're at. I'm also really looking forward to building the Liberty and Liberty & Freedom communities here on HIVE. Link up with those if you haven't and I'm going to be highlighting those in future episodes to get the word out that Liberty is alive and well here on HIVE!
