Voice of Health is excited to now be on Steemit!
The Voice of Health team wants to introduce themselves, and we are super excited to be a part of the special community that Steemit has created! A special thanks to @tfcoates for introducing us to this amazing platform!
Our goal at Voice of Health is to facilitate open and free discussion on mental health and support the destigmatizing of psychological illness. We believe in the benefit of sharing your story, for self-empowerment and the empowerment of others.
Too many people with mental illness continue to suffer in silence; with no avenue to communicate their hardship and no one they feel comfortable sharing their story with. That is where we come in! Voice of Health acts as a platform where people can feel safe opening up about mental health.
Keep tuned as we will be posting some of the amazing stories that we have collected from incredible individuals so far. We hope that these stories will help spark conversation on mental health and encourage others to either share their story or seek the support they need.
A gap is emerging in the system, and while companies are focusing on providing telehealth services, we are focusing on bridging the gap to make it easier for young adults to self-manage their mental health and take the next steps to seek professional support.
We can’t wait to share all of this with the Steemit Community!

Always good to see people focusing on the mental part of our health in such a crucial time in our society. While I am proud of what I achieved on my own in addressing mental health issues, having a community to talk to on top of the information would have been great.
