Introduction - Bionic Painter

Hello hivers!

I've decided to join this amazing community because I've heard that there are amazing people residing here not just crypto to be earned!

Who am I?

So I'm a guy who likes art and computers, does some development and stares at blockchain explorers sometimes... But I do like art too! (and no, I won't shill you my NFT, at least not soon). I create abstract art with my computer. I've developed some algorithms for image editing and made my brush. Now I do abstract-ish art pieces as a hobby! Soon I'll finish my website and put the link to hive blog, maybe I attract someone to join too!

Here's one of my pieces

 "lostSoulComplete.jpg"

This one is still in preparation and if you're interested in the story behind it stay tuned, it's gonna come soon.

So what's my goal?

Well I aim to buy a professional 3D printer so I can print unique 3D art pieces I make, but that stuff is expensive so I'm dedicating all money I earn from art towards that... maybe one day I make it...

And that's it my people thanks for reading and I wish you a great day. If you have any critics or just want to tell what you're thinking about the piece just shoot! I wish you a great day!

Hello @bionicpainter! This is @chillwithshanna from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. We saw that you already posted your first blog here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome!

By the way, how did you discover about hive or who introduced you to this platform? You might want to share it with us or tag your friend so we can thank them!

It's also best to subscribe to Communities you like and share your blogs there to have a wider range of audience. Or you can check out the Communities Incubation Program.

If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: Newbie guide. If you have questions, you can hop into Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.

Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.
Happy Blogging!

Hello @chillwithshanna thank you for the welcome!

I basically read about it on reddit and I decided to give hive a try, got registered on it and examining how it works..

Also you should not worry about plagiarism on this account and I hope you'll be able to verify it soon enough. Also I've seen that when I tried to make this post, there was a beneficiary set as ocd, what's the thing about that?

Welcome to the Hive community @bionicpainter!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. Do not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hivians available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:

Have fun and happy Hiving!

Well hello @bionicpainter! Welcome to Hive 😊 It looks like you got three awesome people all giving you great newbie help. If you don't know these people (who have already commented) they've got your back! Jamerussell's dot point list is fabulously useful to save somewhere. And I agree with brittandjosie; check out the art communities. You'll find more of your people on there (read: people who like art!). Happy playing and learning on Hive 😃
