Introduction & Confessions of an Odd Duck.

Hey Everyone!

I'm Lennart, and new to Steemit so I thought that I would introduce myself. I'm a bit of an odd duck, but my family members and closer friends have been pressuring me, for quite some time, to write about my life, investment ideas and reviews on products, services vehicles, or places I travel, etc. Again, I have a bit a of a weird way of looking at things, but they usually result in a few laughs and some solid profits.

I'm an true Anarcho-Capitalist, Austrian Economics & Machiavelli student. I generally focus on investments which generate [real] wealth, store & create energy, provide building blocks of life, few luxury resources, or fix some sort of problem.

I am a prior US Naval Intelligence Specialist turned Strategic Asset Analyst, turned (eventually) Chief Strategist. I half retired with this title at 28, and became a board member of a VC/PE/Holdings firm which I helped to create and still serve. My final(and current) project will take place over the next 18 months, after which I plan to liquidate my full position and focus on my dream of creating a world that my children and grandchildren will want to inherit. I'm a hands on philanthropist, which I describe as someone who would rather solve problems with thought, creativity and hard work, rather than blindly throwing funds around.

Over the next few months, I'm planning to post about, well, my life:

  • Stocks, economics, metals, world events and the investments I personally make as a result.
  • Blockchain tech, news, cryptocurrencies, applications, devices, services and my experience and opinion with all the above.
  • Dual citizenship, offshore banking, foreign real estate, and why they might be a good thing to think about.
  • Travel locations worth checking out and why.
  • Health & fitness
  • Bourbon, Liquor, Cigars & Recipes complete with photos, but only if they stand out.
  • Getting my pilot's license and instrument rating, and what to do or not do.
  • Scuba diving, underwater hunting and gathering.

Last thing, I'm doing this because I genuinely hope that my experiences or opinion can add value, in some tangible way, to other people's lives or at least help them see another side of the world. I was fortunate to experience a lot in the first 30 years of my life, so If you have a question, ask & if you have an opinion, let's hear it!

I don't have a Facebook, but you can find me tweeting about some of the same on my new twitter account @LennartBedrage, or right here!

Donations

100% of Steem generated by my account will be donated responsibly to a cause which is commuted toward empowerment of impoverished areas, tangible improvements to Human Development and the betterment of all mankind. For each donation, I will generate a full write up of the reasons why I selected a particular organization, stated mission, and what our STEEM has purchased. These write ups will be complete with receipts and pictures when possible.

In my commitment to support the currencies and the blockchain space, all funds will be used to purchase material goods directly, or converted into other currencies (such as ETH) which ensure contract completion and mitigate exposure to fraud.

Welcome to steemit, very happy to have you here!

Sounds like you have some valuable information to share. I have followed because I am interested in investing, health and fitness, and your other areas as well. I think you'll enjoy your time in this great community and I look forward to seeing what you share!

Welcome good sir! Congratulations on all your success in life, your ambition and genuine intent to help others is apparent and admirable. This community here will benefit greatly from your tales of adventure and wide range of business acumen. I am personally looking forward to hearing about the underwater exploration as I just invested in a full metal detector set up which is submersible - if Blackbeard's treasure is out there, I'mma gonna find it! WAHOOOOOOOOO! Have a great day!!

Thank you for your warm welcome and I hope that I do not disappoint. Which metal detector did you get?

You are welcome sir! I picked up a Garrett ACE 400 package for $475 total off eBay that came with a backpack, carrying case and headphones. I did quite a lot of research online first and this seemed to be the best unit and value for the $$$. I will have to let you know how I do with it - right now I am in St. Augustine so will look for a remote beach spot to scan hopefully. Any tips or tricks are welcome!

@lennartbedrage more power to you, best wishes and blessings! May you always be protected by the "Higher Power" and these good intentions become realized soon (for others as well as your future - the final project as well). I will always cherish our chance connection :-)

Welcome sir. Is good to have you here

Right on man, welcome!

Thanks, excited to be here!
