This blog is the start of my new adventure. In reality I started this journey in January of 2026 when my wife suggested I get a new motorcycle. I did think this was odd given that she doesn't like motorcycles and I haven't had my own bike since 2007 when I blew up my Suzuki RF600RP which was 2 years before we even met. But she said it was all good so I bought this:
I've decided to document my trials and tribulations getting back into riding but in a different style and this blog is it.
I'm not new to Hive/Ecency however. I do have another blog called Loweded Wookie, but I'm shuttering that down because I want to develop a blog solely for motorcycle riding with no other posts at all. I will transfer some of those posts over to a certain extent but I'm going to rewrite them because I can't back date my posts.
Since taking up adventure riding, I've seen some amazing scenery that I would never have seen otherwise and I want to tell you those stories.
I want to explain the setup on my bike and the software I use and all sorts to do with riding.
I sincerely hope that even if you're not into motorcycles, you'd be into the stories I share and the photos and videos I share.
