My mother just sent me this picture from her annual trip to the temple in Japan. We have like twelve generations of our family going back to samurai days buried in the family tomb out there. This corridor symbolizes the journey that ones soul might take to the afterlife and is many to bring good fortune and protection to those who walk down this path.
