It's no big deal. Just maybe for a once in a lifetime experience.
Usually the various civil servants cover it but I suspect 2 reasons they need more people.

  1. COVID-19 has really make less of them available
  2. We are probably opening more polling stations so as much people as possible need to go further

    Absolutely! It is a chance for the experience. I would have applied too, but I am too lazy. haha.. People say from the serial numbers, they are able to tell who vote for who, I want to find out if that is true. :-)

    You are right. They are opening up more polling stations because of COvid-19. That is why they need the extra manpower.
