Usually the various civil servants cover it but I suspect 2 reasons they need more people.

We are probably opening more polling stations so as much people as possible need to go further
Absolutely! It is a chance for the experience. I would have applied too, but I am too lazy. haha.. People say from the serial numbers, they are able to tell who vote for who, I want to find out if that is true. :-)
