The Badisches Landesmuseum is one of the largest museums in Germany and is located in the baroque palace of Karlsruhe. The museum presents objects from 50.000 years of cultural history, from prehistory to the present. You can find works of the romans of the upper Rhine, egyptian art, antique collections of classic greek vases, items from the Cyclades culture and treasures from the ottoman empire. Besides that there are always permanent and temporary cultural exhibitions, which are always interesting and appealing to a larger audience.
