As promised in our proposal, we will post weekly updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.
Mobile App
The development on the mobile App side remains the main focus and I kept working towards the Android Alpha release :
- Moved the 'ADD ACCOUNT' flow to the drawer menu
- UI/UX improvement
- Some final testing before releasing the Alpha, I found and fixed a few bugs
- Finished preparing the Google Play Keychain page
- Creation of a Discord for Keychain (still some settings to adjust before sending the invitation link)
I've already uploaded a candidate for internal test on the Play Store. The review process is longer due to the pandemic, and I'm still waiting for the test to become available.
The internal test will allow me to check that everything is fine after what I will move it to Open Alpha. I know lots of users care about their privacy so I won't be doing a closed test that requires emails. There will be another review before moving from internal test to open test, so it's hard to make an estimation of when this will be available. Make sure to follow @keychain to get the information when it's released.
In the meantime, I've started working on preparing the iOS release and am hoping to launch the iOS Alpha in a few weeks.
