Konitsa is 64km away from Ioannina and about 45 minutes from them. Transportation to the capital of Epirus is by KTEL buses and is regular and comfortable. The distance from Athens is 500 km and Thessaloniki 300 km. The city has around 3,500 inhabitants and has an adequate market, from where the whole area is supplied and not only.
