Hello greetings to the entire community, this is my first participation in the Women of Hive contest, which is now in its edition number 6. The questions proposed for this edition are quite challenging, they seem taken from a miss universe contest. I will try to answer the best I can.

Hola saludos a toda la comunidad, esta es mi primera participación en el concurso Mujeres de Hive, que ya está en su edición número 6. Las preguntas propuestas para esta edición son bastante desafiantes, parecen sacadas de un concurso de miss universo. Tratare de responder lo mejor que pueda.

1. What is the thing you love most about being a woman? What is the thing you find the most challenging about being a woman?
What I like best about being a woman is that by nature we are more sensitive, more detailed, and we can usually use our feminine charm to our advantage.
The most challenging thing for a woman would be to have to work and come home to do household chores, of course, although the husband can always help, the women always carry the greatest burden.
1. ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de ser mujer? ¿Qué es lo que te resulta más desafiante de ser mujer?
Lo que más me gusta de ser mujer es que por naturaleza somos más sensible, más detallistas, y por lo general podemos usar nuestro encanto femenino a nuestro favor.
Lo más desafiante para una mujer seria tener que trabajar y llegar a casa a hacer los quehaceres del hogar, claro aunque el esposo siempre puede ayudar, la mayor carga siempre la llevamos las mujeres.
2. Have you ever seriously wished you had been born a male instead of female? If so, why?
I have never really had that thought, although sometimes I joke with my husband, that I wish they were the ones who gave birth so they can see what it feels like to give birth to a child.
2. ¿Alguna vez has deseado seriamente haber nacido hombre en lugar de mujer? Si es así, ¿por qué?
En realidad nunca he tenido ese pensamiento, aunque algunas veces bromeo con mi esposo, que ojala fueran ellos los que parieran para que vean los que se siente dar a luz un hijo.
3. What do you think is the biggest obstacle to women's empowerment and how do we overcome it?
I think that the biggest obstacle for women is in ourselves when we set limits, because I have seen women occupy jobs that were thought to be only possible for men. Of course there are other obstacles such as the culture where it is believed that women are only there to take care of the house and raise children.
To overcome them we have to change the mentality of many people, starting with ours, of course, and that of all those who still live rooted in old customs that taught us that women are only to do housework.
3. ¿Cuál crees que es el mayor obstáculo para el empoderamiento de las mujeres y cómo lo superamos?
Creo que el mayor obstáculo de las mujeres está en nosotras mismas cuando nos ponemos limites, porque he visto mujeres ocupar puestos de trabajo que se pensaba solo lo podían hacer los hombres. Claro hay otros obstáculos como la cultura donde se cree que las mujeres solo estamos para cuidar la casa y criar a los hijos.
Para superarlos tenemos que cambiar la mentalidad de mucha gente comenzando por la nuestra claro, y la de todos esos que todavía viven arraigados en viejas costumbres que nos enseñaban que la mujer es solo para hacer quehaceres del hogar.
