Hello, community! Today I want to share my thoughts on HIVE and why I think we could see an interesting bullish move in the coming weeks.
The price of HIVE (currently hovering around $0.18 USD, a value subject to constant change) has been consolidating, but there are fundamental factors that make me optimistic.
💡 The Decentralized Power of HIVE
Before looking at the charts, it's crucial to remember what makes HIVE special, and what I believe will drive its value:
Speed and Zero Fees: The HIVE network is incredibly fast (blocks in 3 seconds) and charges no transaction fees. This isn't just a technical feature; it's a real advantage for developers and end-users.
Real Use Ecosystem (Web3): HIVE isn't just a currency. It's the engine behind popular applications like the game Splinterlands and the social networks PeakD and Ecency. The increase in users of these dApps injects value and demand into the HIVE cryptocurrency.
HBD: The Stabilizer: The presence of Hive-Backed Dollar (HBD), our dollar-pegged stablecoin, offers an option to save and stabilize profits within the ecosystem, a crucial foothold in market volatility.
📈 Why Do I Think We'll See a Rise?
My perspective is that HIVE's current low market capitalization (approximately $87.20 million USD) is disproportionate to its potential and proven infrastructure:
Low Valuation, High Potential: HIVE has robust Layer 1 technology (Delegated Proof of Stake) with an active community, but its valuation is modest compared to other slower or less-used Layer 1s. If the overall crypto market revalues networks with real usage, HIVE should follow.
Ecosystem Momentum: I closely monitor developments in major dApps. Any major announcement, update, or spike in user activity in the ecosystem (especially in gaming or social platforms) creates indirect demand for HIVE and Hive Power (HP).
HP is Key: To vote and have influence, you need HP. This means people have to "lock up" (power up) their HIVE, reducing the available supply in the market and putting upward pressure on the price.
My Thesis: I believe the growing adoption of Web3 and the search for truly decentralized social networks and games will put HIVE on the radar of more investors in the short and medium term.
