I've been seeing a lot of agitations on social media, from rape to domestic violence and all other forms of assault, and I don't have a problem with it. My only problem is the hate and counter hate. A man can harbour so much evil to assault a woman, and people respond with equally so much hate in their hearts wishing death and all manner of ill on that fellow. Just like when a mob lynches a petty thief as they commit a worse crime.
No matter how much protests and agitations that is carried out, it won't change anything. What we should be doing is working and praying for God-fearing leaders who can truly deliver the nation with the grace and wisdom of God. We have so lost our values and morals and totally neglected to seek wisdom like we were instructed. A righteous nation will always be exalted and sin will always be a reproach to any nation that indulges in it. The only anchor that could keep us rooted and stable is LOVE, which the enemy is trying to steal from the world. Ask many about LOVE today and they tell you it doesn't exist. Now what do you expect LOVE from people that don't believe it exists?
We all are guilty, individuals, groups, churches, mosques, Christians, Muslims, pagans, traditionalists, etc. We have continued to create an environment for hatred to thrive. Absence of LOVE is hate, so we have contributed to what we fight against. The mere focus on it is more than enough to attract it. I have always frowned at the world's concept of a day for LOVE, creating a frequency of hate for the other 364 days.
The more we focus on the negative, the more we attract it, and the more we reject the positive, the more problems we create for ourselves. It is said that Mother Teresa never attended any antiwar rally she was invited to, only agreeing to attend the day a pro-peace rally was held. We need to start to focus more on LOVE to make the world a better place. We need to start to question LOVE and be sure to find answers of what it truly means. LOVE is more than just a feeling people think it to be. It is more than just what a couple or family feel for each other. LOVE is a primary rule of engagement for the world to flourish and prosper. The moment we understand LOVE and start to live with it, that's when our troubles start to fade away, and we can now find the peace we truly desire.
We need love though..that's a fact..the kinda love that a scientist has for the ants he is studying....Just to study them and let them be
We need awareness too
