RE: Learning to Internet

Hey @snook

that was a wonderful recounting of thy life. I admire your enthusiasm for learning new skills and trying to stay relevant in these times.

Often times people lose themselves in attempting to stay relevant with the times (look at Madonna...i had a crush on her when i was young...but now....😣 my Madonna papa don't preach...). It's commendable to keep our personal dignities as we walk on.

And getting dirt on ourselves in life is part of the journey...can't live like a square all life long. I have known many strippers in my time, with thanks to early influences of spending a large portion of my childhood/adolescent years in Hong Kong. Temple Street during night time is my favourite place to hang...

...the traids...the con men...pickpockets...escorts...working ladies on the streets...chess hustlers...three card monte hustlers...these are my friends; they have coloured my life so differently that their friendship has made a mark on my life like no other.

May the spirit of magic stay with you always...and this one's for you:

Sort:

everyone is relevant.

The problem is people are trying too hard to BE relevant.

Just be you and be proud of who you are and what you know and the rest comes without any work.

Thank YOU so much for your great comment and stopping to read my post!
