Losing Sleep Over Money Stress

Fears related to the increasing cost of living and the future of the economy are keeping many up at night.

Some recent reports suggest that as many as 90% of Americans might be losing sleep over their money worries.

Whether it be car debt, a mortgage, student loans, surveys have shown that people find the debt load and money worries are linked with their depression, anxiety, and pessimism about the future.

Money matters plenty today with regard to people's happiness, because it is how they can help their family, feed their children, reach their dreams, support their communities.

When your 'problems' include worrying about how to afford food and keep the gas paid, a roof over your head, it's clear how money can bring happiness and solve these problems.

The pandemic brought on a new experience with mental health worries for millions over the last few years and the pain isn't over for many now with concerns over the rising cost of living.

To hear political leaders almost cheer for a .1% drop in the inflation rate from where it is now this only goes to demonstrate how truly out of touch with reality they are and how they can likely barely comprehend what it is like to live one day in the shoes of the average person.

Inflation is now more of an issue in importance than immigration or social security because of how many people are impacted by this terrible set of circumstances. Most are afraid it will get worse before it gets better.

One survey found that about 73% of Americans ranked money worries as their #1 stress in life and more than half of Americans today are estimated to be living paycheck to paycheck.
