Loquacity is the end product of mindlessness. Mindlessness is the total absence of ideas in the mind. It is the disengagement of the mind from the activities of the mind which is the processing of thoughts. When the mind is inactive, loquacity becomes the order of the day. Loquacity on the other hand is the exclusiveness of words. Talkativeness is not an expertise or skill; it is an expression of lack of control in speech management. It is a proof of character bankruptcy or deficiency.

Where there are too many words sin is not lacking. Offenses are unavoidable. People who talk too much often get into trouble with their fellow men and obviously with God. But people who control their lips and thoughtful silence are regarded as wise.
